The board are to blame not Nuno?

"I just don’t see him improving things and this really is one of those times like De Boer at Palace, or Benitez at Madrid, or Hodgson at Liverpool where the club just need to admit their mistake and cut their losses early."

Don't think Benitez at Madrid should be in the company you speak of. He had a near 70% win record at Madrid and won something like 17 of his 22 games in the league, had just managed his team to a 10-2 win in the cup and had four wins and a draw in the first five CL group stage games.

The 4-0 thrashing by Barcelona seemed to be the end of him in the eyes of the fans but certainly for the short time he was there, he had a good record.

The others, including Nuno had awful records. Although of course Nuno may have some time to get it right.

Yeah but Madrid are the type of club that sack managers after they win European cups. There is a certain culture at play there and Benitez was never the right fit and there were murmurings of that from the moment of his appointment which like Nuno felt compromised from the start so I think the resemblance stands.

Nuno is to blame. He had all the tools at Wolves but failed. He not only failed but also bored everybody senseless for 18 long bloody months.

ENIC, Lewis and Levy are absolutely the problem, 20 years of their misery has delivered one paltry league cup, and in every single year of that tenure Blofeld has pleaded poverty, when in fact they can always call upon money if they wanted to.

ENIC are mugging the fans off and emptying their wallets in the process, as long as their is a queue of people prepared to pay through the nose to watch awful losing football, they will continue, profit is their only major aim.

As for Nuno and this current Spurs team, we have played one very good half of football all season, the first half v Chelsea, when we dominated them, we pressed them and probably deserved a half time lead. Where has that Spurs team disappeared to and why? That is the question we should all be asking, play like that first half v Chelsea in every game for 90 mins and we will be winning way more than we are losing, so why are we not doing the same for every minute of every game.

I do not know what it is, be it Nuno`s tactics or the players downing tools. What we do know is, this club is rotten from the very top down and desperately needs a major reset at board level.

Hopefully we all wake up one day to a City style takeover, and we can all jump for facking joy. I can not stomach much more of ENIC.

Thought we played well against ManCity.
Otherwise agree with everything here.
I think Nuno may have lost the dressing room.

City style take overs dont work anymore, not in current FFP regime. You need to get over this rather pathetic dream of yours because it aint happening.

Whilst you are at it, tell me why we lost the UCL final.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
FFP is not worth the paper it is written on, as has been proved time and time again by the likes of City, Chelsea and PSG, so you need to get over that rather pathetic little excuse for ENIC.

We lost the CL final thanks to some `benefit of doubt` refereeing, our game plan was thrown out of the window after 30 seconds, courtesy of a penalty kick that would not have been given at the other end in a million years. But what this has to do the misery of ENIC`s horrendous ownership of Spurs I have no idea, probably just another lame attempt from a Levyista to deflect away blame from the real problem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

1. PSG and City & Chelsea all began and achieved their doping before FFP really hit home. They are all in a place now where they have fast tracked themselves to the top, primed with massive sponsorship deals which fund their operations. They effectively balance their books and stay within FFP now and exploited the situation years ago when FFP was weaker. Clubs are held to FFP and if they are avoiding it then its through unscrupulous means (like City have been accused off numerous times) rather than FFP having no teeth.

2. My point on the UCL is that we made it to the final. and the reason we lost has nothing to do with the Board so to hang our lack of trophies totally on the ownership lacks any sort of intelligent consideration of the reasons why we have won little. We won little in the 10 years before ENIC. We have been in plenty finals and SF in the last 10 years. We lost to Pompey in an FA Cup SF, a team that got relegated but won the FA Cup. You may have this deeper consideration of Spurs lack of pots as being a Levyista, but to simply blame the ownership is idiotic.
