Seen a lot of aussies saying about the aussie batting being as bad, sire the line up isn't great but you know labushaag and smith with fill their boots as it's vs England.
I swing back and forth on my feeling towards the Aussies especially after the ball tampering stuff but can't knock them today, they delivered on the big stage and they seem to turn up a lot better in England in general than we do over there for the Ashes. Also McGrath whose been presenting pitch side for BT Sport seems like a genuinely nice bloke so difficult to feel too much hate today. All their player interviews were respectful as well and polite towards our batsmen even given their failures.
I had to laugh at the Tweet from the Queensland Police as well: https://twitter.com/QldPolice/status/1468436080558960640
re: Smith & Labushhh you're probably right, only hope with Smith is that he hasn't played much test cricket lately apparently.
No more play today miserable end to a miserable day, don't even have a chance to try and make something of the conditions
Oh and we have no Broad for an easy Warner dismissal Phenom so there's another player to worry about
Its not a shock though is it?. terrible cricket team..actually the standard of batting in test cricket as a whole is pretty pathetic in the last few years.

England to collapse to less than 200 all out, Oz to post 500+ and win by an innings.
Absolutely inevitable.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolutely. Inevitable.
No real surprise, we've been crap down under for years now. I mean we've even required heroic performances on home soil just to avoid getting battered by Aus.
Of course as an England fan you are always hoping for better. I do feel a bit sorry for Burns, first time playing in Australia under huge pressure and received a complete reverse-psychology ball for his first delivery, Starc chucked him it exactly where he would want it under normal circumstances. That was genius or just a fluke given that Starc is not very accurate normally, the one thing he wasn't expecting. Pretty sure it's Hameed first time playing in Australia as well, actually isn't it his first Ashes?
Anyway there were plenty of individual failures in our batting line up as happens far too often these days.
Well, at least it's not like we didn't all see it coming.

I'd say it was a stupid decision to be so inflexible and stick to a plan you made before weather conditions changed (I'm assuming they did and this wasn't forecasted because if this was the longer forecast then there's no excuse at all). Some will call it brave to choose to bat, others would say it was compounding the initial stupidity.
Hello my dear english fans only. How is ashes ? What is score? I hope you all enjoy this
Prediction...
Aussies 300 for 3/4 at next close of play
Prediction. excuses from England after the loss and then they will stick to the same 11 or maybe 1 change in the next game..
So... Patterns forming early here then
I took 10/1 on 5-0 to Aussies
There is sod all chance of England getting back into this game..

I like Burns, a lot. He has some grit about him. Hard to feel sorry though about that shot. Play the deliver - especially the first facking ball of the ashes.
Yeah just feel sorry for him because he was under immense pressure and playing his first test in Aus.
Just to let anyone who's not watching the buildup right now know, the sun is belting down today
Faks sake.
I also really like Burns that's why I'm trying to excuse him. If I recall correctly he usually responds quite well in the second innings to a bad first innings so 🤞
