I don't think Varane has been amazing by any stretch of the imagination but he has been good at getting his head on the ball at set pieces which was a genuine problem for Utd last season.
Not good for Utd, fully expect them out of the title race by November as per.
Its unfortunate but part of the game, and the reason we have squads.

Is Bailly fit or at least match fit? Him and Jones both seem to be injured most of the time. Also, who do we have after him and Lindelof? Mengi and McTominay?
Big blow that, need to get on the front foot in these games rather than setting up not to concede

Endlessly complaining about injuries is so last season, darling
Gets worse... cos i was so sure Varane would see the end of McFred as this would give Ole the confidence to stop 'protecting the defence' and be braver...
Now all i can see is him doubling down, and telling them 2 to stick.
i hope not, but how can i think differently...
Lindelof and Bailly will do fine until the later picks up an inevitable red card, expect 5 DM’s at Leicester may even get Donny a game, Ronny on the bench and fuming, not a single shot on target and Hafi writing 47 posts blaming Degea.

That’s why we’re swapping Lingard for Steve Bruce win win both sides
We still got good CB's but for me, this reinforces the idea to go balls out and Attack.
We simply cannot go Pragmatic.
It seems this season more than the previous 2 see's teams handling out counters well, and our causing us problems.
Ole's go to tactic isn't working as well as it did, it's been found out.
