craig gordon is a world class shot stopper.
unfortunately thats all he has a keeper, he's schite at kicking, schite and collecting, schite at penalties.

Mental.

Made a point about o'neil and the importance of john robertson, thought the same for years, once robbo chucked it o'neil wasn't the same.

certainly a possibility, having a good backroom team seems to be essential in the modern game

Gilmour did what he thinks is best for him and that's all any player should do. I think staying in Scotland tends to hamper our best talent and would encourage any player to take a chance and develop as a player.
and McGinn could easily go for £40m+ in the EPL market he is a quality player.

Since you brought it up....Allan McGregor has made twice as many appearances for Rangers as Gordon did fir Celtic but only faced 50% more penalties.

Apparently Robertson did pretty much all of the day to day stuff on the training pitch, with O'Neill being the ideas and tactics guy. Quite a few of the ex pros who played under them have said as much, with both being excellent man managers

It’s like the wee rural towns of Scotland where scrapping after the pub is still classified as a hobby, folk wear double denim, get daft perms, say Ken every sentence and pick the kidney beans out a chilli.
Having never been to the Faroes I can't testify to that.. my blockheads comment was just a Tetris pun.

they played well in the first half and Gordon made a great save however we did miss lots of chances, McTominay x2, Gilmour x 3, McGinn (sitter)
second half was like a training exercise, subs made a difference
they've defo improved as a side but I think they ran out of gas second half
can see why Denmark and a few others have struggled there recently
