It’s a remake of 2 films. The first two Infernal Affairs movies but shoved into one Hollywood movie and it was good 👍

Pretty daft they've decided to set the home alone remake in the present day given the prevalence of technology like mobile phones or CCTV cameras.

There's literally nothing stopping the mom calling a friend or neighbor to go check up on the kid, never mind the kid himself probably has a mobile phone

It made sense in the early 90s but not now.

Robocop is offensive.

Not a movie, but the Shameless series that got the US treatment.

Fair enough, the US Office has done very well and plenty of British folk prefer it, but fck me the trailers for the US Shameless looked horrendous.

Also, the US Inbetweeners too. Fckin awful and could barely stand to even finish the trailer.

US Shameless is good. Paul Abbot exec produces it. He admitted the U.K. version lost its way the last few seasons.

Texas chainsaw massacre remake was pretty good.

Italian job remake was pretty poor.

If the 80's film was a remake I haven't seen the original one anyway.

Total Recall remake was a bit suspect.

Haven't seen the remake of Texas chainsaw massacre but the original is one of the better horror films out there.

Not holding much hope for the new Scream that's out soon.

I watched the Candyman remake on the weekend which was pretty poor. Just felt like I was getting lectured at for 90 mins. Haven't seen the original.

The Fly, great remake.

Dredd was awful.

How about films that you would hate to be remade?
I would lose it if they made a remake of Back to the Future

New Ghostbusters this year too, won't be as good as the originals but can't be worse than the last remake with the birds in it.

Looks promising from the trailers.
