Always enjoyed bram stokers but that was all about Gary oldman

he was so wooden that coppola apparently considered replacing the fake blood with cuprinol.

i did like him in the neon demon. though he was horrific in the remake of the day the earth stood still, which almost ruined a classic.

Sold it to generate funds for Reservoir Dogs if my memory is correct.

Love True Romance and on one hand I'm glad we got the version we did but on the other it would have been cool to see what Tarantino could have made.

The grudge was a decent remake too

My favourite scene in any film in true romance

Dennis hopper and Christopher walken face off when hoppers character knows he is a goner so engineers a quicker exit for himself

The all female ghostbusters was awful. Not quite a remake though

The 82 thing creature effects are probably still the best ever. Great movie. So horrific and inventive. Should have had an Oscar for that.

The talented Mr Ripley is a pretty decent remake IMO. Watched it again recently.

The Bourne Identity is another one.

One that annoyed me was Total Recall. Didn’t require it.

Pretty much any blockbuster cowboy/gangster/crime film from the last 15 years is typically a remake…
