Evening View.
Preston's a bit of a pain from here, so I'll be joining you on RD.

What odds on our hero missing the Luton game ?

Festy to make a start as the R wingback tomorrow ?
Made some devastating runs for the u23s earlier this week

I will be heading up to Preston. I bought my ticket early before the price dropped but haven't asked for a refund. I also hope Festy gets a run out. Hasn't Buchanan played rigth back before? That might be another option.

Where's the goals? We can't expect the defence to hold out, week in, week out ,just so we can scramble a point.

I think he'll go 3 at the back with 2 wingbacks. Thought Fozzy was excellent in an advanced position recently, but he may be in the back 3 with Buchanan pushed up.
Can't help you with the goals though, Spart

Transport and match ticket for six bob over £20, can't grumble at that, (Sheff Utd was over 4x that cost)!

Vidal, DCFC will automatically credit your payment cats with the £19 refund.

No one can wave a magic wand and find a 25 goal striker.

Baldock is max 10 a season, CKR is 15 max.
Stretton, I think from what I've seen, has talent aplenty but needs to score a couple to get his confidence going.

No point in us having a 25 goal striker, you would only say that he is holding the team back. Think you are being very generous with your assessment of Baldock and CKR's maximum goal tallys. CKR did prove to be good at being the lone striker though. Trouble is that there is no one around who can support him.

I thought you were able to leave it and give it as a gesture to the charity they are collecting for? So I guess you need to claim it back if you want it?

Not sure what the arrangement is for refunds, I’ve seen somewhere that you had to claim it be yesterday but elsewhere that it would be automatic. Never mind. Got my tickets for Cov next week aswell.

We all know there are very few goals in the side no matter what lineup Rooney chooses. Maybe when CKR is back he might try a big’un/ liitle’un combo up front but that would mean a midfielder dropping out.

But what we have done has certainly worked so far. We have eked out far more points than I thought we would. It’s whether or not we can sustain the fantastic rearguard work over the season when we know that if we concede we are unlikely to get back into the game.

Surely a guy who was the leading goal scorer for England and Man Utd could pass on a few tips to our strikers. How about "Lawrence, if the goal keeper is at the near post, open your body and shoot to the far post" for a start. Easier said than done I know, but that is why players train regularly while most people have to go to work.

Maybe Lawrence has embraced your wok ethic Spart, get paid as much as possible whilst doing as little as possible?

I was told by a reliable source, that there would be an automatic refund.

First house on the left when you get to Toxteth this morning Vidal. Tell your chauffeur not to be tardy.

I never knew Lawrence was in to chinese cookery.

I thought all footballers had that ethic. Think about it, it makes perfect sense. Look at our current PM for a prime example.

Morning all....and thanks to View as ever for the thread. I always feel the same after the international break...a bit 'numb' as to what's going off....and lets face it, it's all been the 'off the field activities' that have been filling the headlines.
The game today ?? ....well, it's winable I'd say - but whether we will ...well we'll see...UTR
