I didn't think he had a pass like that in him. He has taken his game to another level.

Best player in the world at the moment, not sure it's even close.

Something else has ‘clicked’ with him. I’m wondering if Klopp has had a proper word with him, told him he needs to expand his game and bring other people into the game more than he was doing. This isn’t a criticism of him, he was already an amazing player. It’s just an observation that’s this season he’s moved up a couple of levels from where he was, and it’s phenomenal to watch. He seems to be doing something jaw dropping at least once a game.

If he keeps it up all season and we manage to win the league, then we’ll be debating whether he’s had the biggest single influence on a title win in history.

May as well

Where is he by the way? Hasn't been seen since his forecast of a 3-1 Watford win

Yeah this season he's more composed. There was another similar pass v Chelsea onto Jota's head that had to be perfect.

Also the two solo goals saw him attract multiple defenders and he knew his way out. With one roll and touch.....its definitely another level as a few have mentioned

I can't think of an area of his game that isn't top notch, he's doing everything....In style

Ditto all of the above but credit also go to Mane and Firmino who are upping their game at the same time. That trio is potent now.

No left foot lads. If you wanna be critical

Salah is already in his peak years. He is having a great time right ow but is that confidence or what who knows he was great last season and worked so hard every game with little support when it went really bad.

Hes continuing on this season so how long it lasts is the only question. 5 year deal on 300k or more is the question. The last 2 he could become a millstone. Unlikely but possible.

All pretty irrelevant points, you’re just being half empty. I doubt the club will hold back on his contract offer on the basis of ‘what if’ he doesn’t stay as good. That’s just a daft thought process.

How wasn't he at that level in his first season, just out of interest?

32 goals in 36, 10 assists, 11 goals in 15 in the CL, scored some great goals too similar to ones yesterday.

It’s more about his overall game. Also, there’s no doubt that the things he’s doing individually are consistently to a different level than previously. The stats don’t tell the whole story.

Yeah I get that his overall game may have improved, but his first season is still up there as one of the best seasons of anyone in the league. As good as any from Henry I would say, or am I mistaken?

It’s to an extent immaterial whether anyone has had a word in his ear or not. He is currently for me the undisputed No.1 in the world player; there’s no one near him.

And he’s ours. He plays for our team. And our management need to get their heads out of where they like to keep them and get him signed on an new contract.

And the reason why they’ll be interested?

Simple: he will make them more of the one thing that interests them - money.

That ping with the outside of his left foot for Sadio to score the first goal? Wow. And again, wow.

Scary player.

Even if you try and stop him, in or around the box, you're in danger of giving a freekick away, or worse.

If TAA gets anywhere near his Beckham-like form of a couple of years ago, them free-kicks may as well be penalties.

Purely on the fact you guys have 19 and 6, I don't want you to win anything - and find it hard to watch even Salah's (Liverpool's) very best goals - but you have a great style.

Admirable and sickening all in one swoop. I hope you take this as a compliment.
