Speaking to the Telegraph, Steve Bruce said: "I think this might be my last job.
"It’s not just about me; it’s taken its toll on my whole family because they are all Geordies and I can’t ignore that.
"They have been worried about me… especially my wife Jan. What an amazing woman she is, incredible, she’s just a fantastic woman, wife and mother and grandmother. She dealt with the death of my parents, hers have not been very well. And then she had me to worry about and what I’ve been going through the last couple of years.
"I can’t take her for granted, she has spent her whole life following me around from football club to football club and if I was to say to her tomorrow, I’ve been offered a job in China, or anywhere, she would say, 'Steve, is this right for you, do you want to do it?' And she’d back me again.
"I’m 60 years old and I don’t know if I want to put her through it again. We’ve got a good life so, yeah, this will probably be me done as a manager - until I get a phone call from a chairman somewhere asking if I can give them a hand. Never say never, I’ve learnt that."
Incredible really that to get a club not one of the big 6 to 13th and 12th results in the fan base against you and the sack.

Newcastle have issued a request to their fans not to wear Arabic headwear because it shows a lack of respect. What exactly have the Saudis done to warrant respect?

Nothing. Just what is their sand doing on top of our oil anyway?
I wonder who will behead of recruitment?

Leicester seem to have found a decent new forward in the Zambian, Patson Daka. Scored his first Premier League goal at the weekend against Man Utd in his second league appearance. Today they won 4-3 away in Moscow in the Europa League and he scored all 4
Once again Leicester find a gem. They must have a great scouting team. They paid £23 mill for him and will probably sell him to one of the big six for £70 mill in a year or two, assuming he keeps banging them in.
Always baffles me when 60 year old multi millionaires still want to work. You'd have to be a bit mad wouldn't you?
Joao Moutinho’s contract expires at the end of the season. We wait to see if Wolves look to extend that. Press reports are that he may well carry on playing somewhere beyond that point, but what he has confirmed is that when he does retire it’s his plan to become a manager.
Albion’s new manager has got them in the automatic promotion positions but isn’t getting much praise for their style of football. They are beating Swansea 1-0 at half time tonight despite having had only 28% possession

Lost 2-1
Regarding Moutinho we should do all we can to keep him as a coach or trainee coach once he stops playing, or maybe he can do some qualifications at the same time
Looks like Mourinho might be heading for another managerial failure. His Roma team lost 6-1 away to Norwegian team Bodo today. Can’t be many times Rui Patricio has conceded 6 in a game
Nuno's lot lost 0-1 to Vitesse with a young side. May not even progress in that tournament.
Why the obsession with ex managers? Time to move on me thinks. Nobody cares ole timer. 🥷🏾
A win tomorrow would make a great start to the season after the first three games.
If we fire on all cylinders we should get a win with Leeds struggling. We have not drawn this season yet so that is a real possibility.
Lets go for the three points and continue our climb up the table.

I don't think Leeds are as bad as recent results suggest. They have had a few injuries which may be a reason but some of those injured players may be back tomorrow. Also I don't think Wolves are good enough to start winning every week, they have won 4 of the last 5 but, particularly at Villa, they haven't always been convincing.
Interesting to see how the season develops for Wolves. Played exciting football in the first three games and lost them all. Played more conservatively since and have climbed up to the top half of the table.
Ideal would be for us to play in the style we saw in the first three games and get the results we've seen in the 5 games.since. Time will tell if that's a pipe dream.
I don't think playing conservatively has been the reason for us picking up results. We have just been more clinical in recent games and are putting away a higher percentage of chances.
We didn't concede loads of goals when playing the more exciting football. We averaged conceding one per game, which is our average in the games since as well. You'd think if we can continue being more clinical now confidence is higher and start playing the higher press football of the first few games, we will actually start to improve more.
