Bielsa isn't and shouldn't be above critique.
Yes done wonders for the club, but some of the questions seem fair enough to me.
Personally don't think giving him the push is anything like the answer, yet. Need players back and some form (confidence maybe?) to string some results together. Said on another thread that I believe we'll stay up, still do.
Good coach, floored manager. Stick your head back in the sand ..... muppet.
Chris Wilder got Sheff Utd out of the championship and finished 9th. 3 teams get promoted every season ...... Bielsa has been brilliant for the club, but his policy is backfiring, currently.

That’s the point though isn’t it. His policy is backfiring, currently. Currently being the key word. Currently we have injuries. Currently we are without 6 first team players. Currently. Fact is he’s had rough patches in the lst 3 years too and turned it around.
Very average tbh. Which is better than Leeds truth be told

Agree about critique - but my issue is when people point at the very things that bielsa has done good over the years as a flaw - but are the first ones raving when it works. Can’t have it both ways
Problem with bielsa is he’s taken this bunch to 9th last season and exceeded expectations. Take Raphinna, Philips, meslier and Llorente out and we are relegation contenders- no doubt about it. Even with them in, are are a 11-15th team in PL. so realistically, we are there abouts….. just need to go on a run of a few genes and reckon we’ll be alright

I think (hope) Bielsa can turn things round. Getting players back from injury will help that - but are his coaching/training methods part of the problem there maybe?
What he's done over the years has been against lesser players and invariably lesser coaches/managers. He's now plying his methods against the best - and they learn to adapt - not sure we do or will. First season was a bit of a revelation, i think we're truly seeing where the side is this time round. I never doubted this season would be tougher. Great point about expectations - last season the bar was set, i'm not sure we were ever going to replicate it.
At this stage i'm concerned, but certainly not panicking. Bielsa out - no way, certainly not at this stage.
I've said it on another thread but I really do think the lack of signings in the summer has crippled us.
We can't cope in our normal formation without Philips as we have no cover there.
Midfield options are very limited
People are picking at holes if they are playing Biesla
He has worked wonders
There is a challenge around signings, who is accountable there I don't truly know between Bielsa and Orta
When you turn up with 8 academy lads on a bench it tells you the issue. We have no depth
Take a few bigger signings out the side and it's full of players we signed in the Championship. We are abouts where we should be to be honest with lack of a midfielder and 10.
The reliance on Phillips is huge. Llorente too.
We need a 10
Definitely agree with comments are summer signing and lack of depth and squad size.
If i think back to the games so far
Man U - expected to lose
Liverpool - expected
Everton - good result to come back being behind twice
Newcastle - we battered them first half and didn’t take chances.. nothing to do with bielsa tactics. Stonewall pen not given
West Ham - again, at 1-0 we had ample chances and didn’t take. Klitch one being the turning point for me. Clear pen on James not given. How does beilsa tactics come into that?
Burnley - think away at Burnley half of the division would take a draw
Southampton- very poor first half. 6 players out lost 1-0 hardly earth shattering and a call for a public enquiry is it? Let’s be honest
Things may well change for the worse and then yes we can ask questions. For now, not sure where people are coming from with this bielsa thing - really don’t
All the comments I’ve read over the last two days, I’ve already seen before over the last 3 years.
Was the performance really any worse than Brighton or Crawley last season? Forest the season before? Stoke away, Brentford away, QPR away in that first season?
Leeds under Bielsa have had patches were they struggled and have always turned it round. They deserve our trust and support to do the same now, especially after losing an away game with 5 players missing.
I always think our extremes are massive under Bielsa. When we play well, we look amazing. When we play poorly, we look absolutely awful. It will be alright, there are 3 worse teams.
Agree A14. A few of my none Leeds fan mates think we are a little blinded. For example we get smashed some guys and I can see their points
But with the squad...Last season if you review it, it was basically the promoted team with Raph and at times Rodrigo. Others were injured
I think we will be alright If we can keep our head above water till January whereby we average out a point per game after 19 games so we need 13 points from our next 11 games which should be doable.
Then we must aquire at least 3 new first team players to cope with our injuries suspensions and offer us more depth and options from the bench. Yes I know it is not easy to do this but we must find a way.
Whether these are loans Radz and Orta and Kinnear need to be proactive now and I hope are working hard behind the scenes identifying potential targets who will be available and we get them quickly in January and don't muck about waiting till the transfer window deadline day.
If we do not treat the predicament we are in as anything other than critical, I fear all Bielsa's marvelous hard work over the last 3 seasons will be undone and we'll be back where we started.

Sheff Utd probably said the same thing mate. Just because they finished 9th didn't mean that they'd stay up in the second season.

Pretty much spot on and even though we were carp on Saturday both James and Harrison probably should have scored. Saying that we got what we deserved in the end. A draw would have been harsh on Southampton.
Let’s see where we are after we’ve got the five starters back. I would like to see Raphinha at 10. Rodrigo has had his chance and blown it imo.
Bamford, Raphinha, Ayling, Firpo and Phillips all start if fit. Koch maybe as well.
No doubt we will have injuries but missing half a team would hinder 90% of the clubs in this league.
The problem in midfield (lack of a no 10 and holding player) should have been a priority in the summer. Pablo going should have triggered buying a replacement even though he had not featured much in the PL. It seemed that MB still felt that Rodrigo was the answer even though he never looked right in the role.
As for a holding CM to back up Philips, experiments with Struijk and Koch playing in there had not been successful so again buying someone for that position should have been prioritised. It seems that again MB saw Forshaw as the solution despite the fact he had not played for almost 2 years.
I dearly hope these decisions do not cost us in the long run and we can turn things around.

I don’t think we have good enough players to accommodate a 10 yet.
We really need 2 proper 8s in front of Phillips to prioritise controlling the game again. This is the priority and if sometimes we struggle to break down teams we dominate then fine.l because at least we are in control again.
I suspect that if we win on Saturday, the doubters will slink back into hiding until we go on another iffy spell, which every team has. Even Liverpool first half of last season couldn't win a game (at least not at home) to save their lives - did their fans turn on the manager? We know the answer. Have faith and He will deliver!

If you look at our fixtures until the New Year our only realistic victories are v Wolves, Norwich, C Palace and Brentford and possibly Villa but only if there is a vast upturn in our form.
fixtures against Leicester, Spurs, Brighton, City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea do not fill me with much hope of getting anything.
We really need to beat Wolves on Saturday to have a good chance of surviving this seasin so a win is not going to dismiss the concerns a lot of us have.
Like I said look at the fixtures and tell me how confident you are that after 20 games we will have at least 20 points? I'll be delighted if we get that.
It is very upsetting to have to even question Bielsa after what he has done for us but unfortunately these uncomfortable questions now have merit.
Absolute muppets.
The muppets who doubt Bielsa also moan about not spending money (We spent £48m on senior players in the close season with a few million more on U23s and have a £25m court case ongoing).
A large proportion of these moaners do not watch the games - its clear from what they write.
Not even wavered 1% away from Bielsa. 100% happy to have him here.
