You can only turn into a club that doesn’t mind a greater turnover in the head coach role if you’ve got the roles, capability and stability elsewhere in the organisation. Chelsea have it, as do we. We haven’t had to to do it regularly ourselves yet though.

It certainly seems strange to me to choose faithful supporters, who pay a lot of money, to support the club through thick and thin and call them 'toxic'

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Supporting the club doesn't mean acting blind and putting down dissenting voices. That is what OT regulars have done over the years. It worked when Fergie was here. It's similar to someone ignoring all red flags in their cheating gf just because she has great tids.

Now we no longer have Fergusson, its the match day going fans who should be shouting for change instead they bury their heads in the sand and keep singing "Ole at the wheel". We are becoming a laughing stock. Our opponents want us to give Ole another 6 year contract. Tell me what does that say?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You've clearly never been to a match tbf as you're talking out your backside and it shows.

There is plenty of moaning and groaning within the ground on matchdays when the football is poor and players are passing it around slowly side to side. Just because fan's still sing certain songs in the terrace it certainly doesn't mean they are happy with everything. I've also not seen people having their dissenting voices 'put down' so I'm not sure where you're coming from on that one.

Also, if you can't/won't buy a ticket to a game, try hanging around outside OT afterwards or in one of the pubs, there are many match going fans not happy with the current performances and are pretty vocal about it after the games, and plenty of talk about Ole whether he's good enough or who they'd want to come in to replace him.

Basically your article should just say;

"When I watch TV I've not heard the whole stadium chanting OLE OUT in unison and the owners won't sack him until they do"
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Its just the last couple of weeks that the moaning has increased and even then the fans are scared to voice their opinion. It's like when your favorite politician facks up you moan and groad but never voice it publicly.
There needs to be more Ole out chants, banners in the stadium visible boos like Jose got in his last few weeks. Only then will Glazers sense what's going on and get a replacement.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's not just the last 2 weeks and fans aren't/haven't been scared voicing their opinions as I've said there has been plenty of it in the ground.

The fact that people think the only trigger for the Glazers to do something about it is whether there are banners inside the ground or not tell me that the Manager isn't even our biggest problem.

The word toxic is overrated now days.

It is the OP’s new buzz word. He doesn’t know what it means.

You've paid your money to get into the ground and watch your team. You are free to boo or cheer as you wish.
You sure as hell don't need someone telling you when to sing. Let's sack the manager.

I am a season ticket holder and several of the fans who sit around me are in a whatsapp group together, to a man the view seems that Ole’s time is up nothing much different to and the same views as being expressed on here but at the ground on Saturday we won’t be booing the team or Ole, other than the fact he is a likeable bloke who genuinely loves the club I would think now the vast number of supporters in the ground have lost confidence in him and his staff and see him floundering to inevitable failure.

I have no idea where this thinking that supporters who go to the games want to defend Ole comes from other than the fact he deserves respect at this moment for what he has tried to achieve and the fact he is one of us a red who cares for the club, like others have said on here I actually think he will resign if the next few weeks turns into carnage and it should be sad day for all of us that it didn’t work out.

So people who hope we win our next two games and maybe turn our season around are toxic? Funny old world.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Remove your head buried in the sand. We ain't winning anything under this "Feel good" manager. Time for the chop and get someone competent.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's not even close to the point I was making though, is it.

Answer this... Are people who want us to win the next two matches and potentially turn our season around part of the "toxic fanbase"?

A simple yes or no is fine.

It's actually the other way round. The old timers have a specific template as to how Utd supporters should act, how they should support the manager through thick and thin regardless of results. That is more fecked up.

Weren't you the one when Moyes was appointed said you'll back him for the entire 6 years of his deal?

There is no simple answer. The fact is he won't turn the season around. We have seen a few times over the last 3 years that when the going gets tough Ole somehow pulls out a couple of miraculous results (mostly through last ditch defending, smash and grab) and our fanbase keep singing "Ole at the wheel" while he buys himself some time before the next inevitable fack up.

Nope.

And you are telling people how to behave. Just read your comments back. On top of that you've invented an alternative world where the people you're telling how to behave are telling you how to behave. It's weird, mate, you might need help.

I'm full of toxicity then because I certainly hope we win the next two games (and all games after that too) no matter who the manager is.

Also, if the powers that be allow one/two games to decide Ole isn't the man for the job (for the record I don't think he is now) then what confidence is there in them actually doing a good job of hiring a new manager? In many ways sacking him even if we did win these next two games would be more competent ownership.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
This sums it up well, the match going fan knows how to act in the ground, they know what will or won't be tolerated. The internet fan lives in an online bubble and thinks cause you can post a rant in caps on twitter then you can do exactly that in the ground.

Match going fans can be unhappy with Ole and how the team is performing, but they won't just boo and rant and rave cause 1. It doesn't do any good anyway 2. They'd be shouted down by fans around them. They can be respectful to a man like Ole while also not being happy, twitter kids don't understand this.

We have it at Liverpool, if you just looked at twitter you'd think every Liverpolol fan hates the owners and want FSG out, reality is the owners are doing a decent job and match day fans go to support the team, not moan about owners.

When something real needs to happen then match going fans stand up, always have and always will.

There's only one Ole Inner on this site and that is Culer. The quicker you learn that, the less paranoid your interaction here will be.

Most Man Utd fans want us to win the next two games.... not because of Ole but because of the club they support.

Two of our next three games are against Liverpool and City how can any true United fan want to lose them no matter what the manager situation and how can anybody hate Ole enough to want to happen, the fact is they are both much better than us right now so it may well happen but not a bone in my body can wish for it, Spurs in between will probably be above us in the table so zero points is all possible but even then I don’t think the board will sack Ole
