Two big issues

It’s a mess, I really don’t understand what the coaches are doing, and why they can’t see this? Is it the personnel?

There are lots of issues.
Manager not good enough.
Right back awful.
Central Midfield not good enough.
Too many luxury players - Ronaldo, Pogba, Bruno, Sancho etc.

We need to hire an elite, hungry manager, and he will need about 350 mill to bring in a striker in their prime, 2 x centre mids and a right back.

I’m sure they can. But I think the issue is personnel, an inability to drill the team to a high standard and a belief that risk vs reward of how we are setting up is the way to go.

Being aware of the issues and being to solve them are quite different things. I suspect most coaches and managers are aware of the problems, the best ones can solve them. It’s why simply making signings isn’t enough, we need a new manager.

Jamie Carragher talking nothing but facts on Pogba on MNF.

Keane, Souness and Carragher are all wrong though apparently. 😂

Pogba was UTTER DOGSHAT this week...there's part of your problem...spends too much time on his fackin hair & not enough getting his head right for games
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Found Souness’ account.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Souness is right. Pogba is a flop. Needs to be babysat to succeed. Can't handle players pressing him and is a lazy git.

Some of our fans think he's the best CM in the world. 😂
-------------------------------------------------------------------Honestly I've never understood the people who see him as a world class player. He's average at best. And at times he looks like a pub player.

I doubt that’d make much difference, 52. Ultimately our issues are under Ole’s leadership. If he’s not been able to address it after nearly three years it shows he’s not up to the job.

posted on 18/10/21

Let’s look at it this way. We came second with a championship standard manager. Imagine what these players could do with a world class one? Hence why I’m positive about the future whereas SE85 is sticking pins in his Glazer action dolls

posted on 18/10/21

Look at it this way, we came second, so possibly the manager is better than championship level.

Ole may not be up to the job, but he's done nothing that to warrant that

How is it childish to call a manager championship standard? Childish would be to call him a poo-poo head or something or that ilk.

It’s not a stretch to think a guy who got sacked from a championship club a championship manager. And I’m willing to make a bet with someone on here he doesn’t get a PL job after this one.

Remember, opinions are just that, sorry if they trigger you into thinking they’re childish

Smalling was sold because Maguire is better on the ball.

Sadly Maguire is pretty crap at that too. Can be pressed in to a mistake and holds on the ball for too long. Then slowly passes to the side.

£80m wasted

Totally agree with both points.

However, in the stands we were calling for us to put more pressure on Villarreal at the back, when we did, they cut through us like a knife.
