This.

Also I reckon there will be a united Ireland referendum within 10 years. Genuinely though have no idea how I would vote

I don't think any region of the UK would benefit from independence. Especially England.

And whilst I get the (self determination) arguments, (exacerbated by the current nationalistic government) the last few years has highlighted the countries reliance on interdependence.

Scotland didn't, so they should wait a generation or to. This generation had their vote, respect their decision. Makes an absolute mockery of the premise of referendums when you just keep asking for reruns until you get the result you want.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

One of the big campaigning points for Scotland to remain part of the UK was EU membership. Now there has been a significant change, I think it is fair for them to request another referendum.

When England is drowning in the sea, whilst simultaneously dying of thirst, whilst dying of cold because they have no renewable energy resources, you can come knocking on the border and beg for dry land, water and some source of heat. Beg for forgiveness for being a bunch of cants and forcing exponentially worse Tory cants on us for decades. For reasons we are still to understand? For getting rid of the fit Eastern European people from our towns and villages, who were really fit. All because brown people sometimes get on dinghys.

Although the fact that our governing party are known as The Conservative and Unionist Party means they might have to put the champagne on ice if they did win a referendum

Depending on what's on the table, I'd absolutely be open to English independence. Not sure what the downsides would actually be though.

It would actually be the next logical step to trick stupid English people into voting for English independence. Using your stupid people against you to free Scotland and Wales. Remember, it's tricking stupid and scared people that wins these things.

Purely from an economic perspective, it would be severely damaging to the English economy.

"MINISTERS have blocked plans to export Scottish water to England to deal with shortages in a scheme once championed by Boris Johnson.

Sir James Bevan, chief executive at the Environment Agency covering England, said last year that Scotland could provide the answer to England’s H2O woes, with the southern half of the UK predicted to run out of fresh water in less than 30 years.

He said England was staring into the “jaws of death”, where the ever-growing population surpasses the falling supply of water."

Nah once we are independent and back in the EU, we would only let in people from other EU members. You'd have to take your holidays in a motorway service station, or whatever your desirable locations are in England. A landfill site maybe?
