Benitez is a better manager but the results were pretty much the same. It’s the personal abuse that’s the issue.
He did about as well as anyone could in the Mike Ashely sheetshow. It will be fun seeing his replacement try to sort it out. Though of course they will be funded in a way he never was. Still gonna be a tricky gig.
