The SPFL are so far past incompetent, even we’re winning legal battles with them

Who intervened on the spfls behalf. You couldn't actually make up the level of incompetence.

Aye them and all

Same thing anyway - SPFL that brought the case to be and didn’t include Parks

The SFA oversee the arbitration process.

What an absolute mess of a post.

Much like your title defence.

This is simple a procedural matter and confirms that Parks are an interested party despite no contract or payment confirming such 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You mean it should have been a simple procedural matter but SFA fecked it up

Thought it was both, SPFL brought case, SFA didn’t do their job of overseeing properly

Cover your bases. Good idea.

So has a case been won?

Here's my question

Why were the SFA so strongly against the idea of Parks being involved in the arbitration process when they are clearly an interested party....to the extent of going to court over it, and appealing it??

Why?

posted on 21/10/21

Because they’re not a member of the SFA, and therefore probably can’t be bound by the arbitration.

The rules they put in place were clearly for their members only-they were poorly worded though and allowed an outside party in.

Not really that nefarious.

And who covers these costs again?

Oh yeah; the clubs and ergo the fans. Us.

These organisations are notoriously useless at getting their legal house in order but to be fair the law is a complicated minefield. Just more financial gain for the respective lawyers is all.

As ever
The lawyers rarely lose
I do though hate the split along party lines
If they are incompetent they are incompetent regardless of which club is “in dispute”
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think we are all in agreement that they are amateur at best. Do our leagues deserve better is maybe the question.

Bottom line is we are two of God knows how many members; the vast majority of whom aren’t worth the rse end of a ten bob note.

Yep. We only have ourselves to blame out of self interest.

Will never change with our set up

As Rangers refused to confirm who the third party was, this necessitating this process in the first place, the spfl had no option but to move forward with the process.

Now they know who the third party is.

It's clear that Rangers will now claim they have a verbal agreement with PMG. And we'll find out if Douglas Park is funding Rangers with his own money or his company's money.

I have a lurking suspicion he wasn’t including us in his statement.
