The undisputed GOAT. Turns up when needed.
Look I don’t think it was a great idea to bring him back overall and I hope I’m proved wrong. There is no doubt though that he still has goals and moments in him.
Tonight was easily his best game overall since his return.
In a team that lives and dies on ‘moments’, having Mr Moments in the side is important
Cracking goal though , typical Ronaldo bullet header 👍
nobody has scored more match winning goals in 2021 than Ronaldo.
Some football watchers don't realise that it's actually ok to be anonymous most of the game if you're going to score the winner

He wasn’t anonymous tonight, far from it.
We decided to cross the ball and got two goals from it tonight.
It may not be the most 'sophisticated' football but I think doing that plays to Ronaldo's strengths.
Also, tonight for me showed the importance of tempo. We were right at it at the start of the second half and it was much better as a result. We should be that aggressive in all games though. If we did that v most of the PL out talent should win most games

That was Ronaldo's best game by a distance tonight. Put himself about and had chances.
It did make me laugh though after he scored the winner he decided to come back to defend in open play. Probably to preserve his winner!
Hes been missing for about 4/5 games.
United are carrying him. Scored winners vs Villareal and Atalanta, teams you should beat comfortably and would imo if starting cavani etc ahead of ronaldo. Bring him on last 15
Brilliant header and 6 goals in the bag, the least problem we have

He worked hard all night tonight I felt. I know he’s 36 so probably can’t tear around the pitch every game but I’d prefer tonight’s Ronaldo once a week than last Saturday’s Ronaldo twice a week if that makes sense?

Youre losing legs up front, gonna pile pressure on a weak midfield. Chipping in with goals masks the deeper issue. But i get it its Ronaldo id be same with Gerrard
Has he come close to repeating the work rate he showed today?
I think I read that he is the worst presser of the ball in the league but can't doubt he still has immense quality in the final third. Probably end up with 30 goals again this year.

Give him a chance, the game’s not been over two hours.
Mental I was reading an article other day people saying this guy is a problem. If this guy is a problem, we are finished. He is saving Ole right now
Cavani up top with Ronaldo free to move either left or right seems to work for me they work well together

Everyone knows he’s a class player, a winner and scores goals. Everyone also knows he is 36/37 and doesn’t press a great deal. What we don’t know yet is which of those two will be the more significant in team that’s far from perfect.
We also don’t know if we’d have done better this season with Cavani playing more and Ronaldo playing less.
