Oooo. There’s a strange one. Half time at Arsenal v Villa and ref goes to VAR as soon as he blows his whistle to check a challenge a minute earlier.
Gives a penalty. Penalty is saved but striker nets the rebound. I’d have thought that kick taken was the last of the game and either scored or saved. Not so. Ref allows play to continue to award the rebounded goal.

I guess anything that occurred in the min between the foul and halftime didn’t happen, and the game goes back to I guess again 44 mins
And I’m busy all these dates but I’ll get her telt and find a way whatever y’all decide.
Saturday 4th or 11th but I'm council now so can make any date work tbh

You may well be right although I wouldn’t trust the average players intellect to know the subtle rules.
Nobody complained as far as I could see which was telling I suppose. Just baffled me is all

Wonder what he would have done if the keeper parried it out the one of his own players who then ran up and fired it in the net. Scenes 🤣

Similar to the var penalty check on our europa game. Commentator said that as the check went on the game continues and even if a penalty is awarded it is not done so until a stoppage in play, which is fine unless one or other team scores a goal. Does the goal get chalked off so that you can then have the lottery of taking a penalty...?
As far as the night out goes....let me check my calendar............
