Every board has its wums and socks. Filter and starve the wums solves the former. It is the latter that are a bigger problem.
As WUMs go, I actually quite appreciate Culer.
The character is fairly well defined and consistent, and his creator produces the right amount of output and tends to know his boundaries (for example, keeping Culer out of sensible debates).
Given the nature of and background we get on the character, it can’t sensibly be argued that Culer pretends to be anything other than a parody character. The fact that he’s hiding in plain sight demonstrates an honesty in the work.
Most importantly, the character is a positivity troll. His articles offer positive messages and (ridiculous and ridiculously overstated, obviously) reasons to be hopeful, and he is very rarely offensive or abusive. Rather like Barry, he doesn’t go after people, and he rarely engages with other posters directly in an threatening or aggressive manner. He sets the trap, allows people to throw themselves in, then just keeps chucking enough cupcakes in to keep his captors alive and engaged.
I’d rather a Culer than any given aggressive, bullying troll or bigoted and hateful, conspiracy-theory pushing loon (of which the site has several), or a negativity troll attempting to drag an entire board down with them (of which the site has many).

I’m not going to degrade myself by throwing shade at Culer.
However, all I will say is that off the two of us I am the only one who is not a nonce.

Nah, there’s too much love radiating from Culer for that.
In your scenario, he’d be the first in the pit with Stockholm Syndrome, telling the rest of the captors how lucky they were to be kept women, and how caring their captor was for delivering them a free and unlimited supply of quality moisturiser.
Culer is actually quite a bit like Wahl if you were to swap the latter’s PCP consumption out with LSD.
