Utd have tried lots of different approaches since Fergie.

Different managers, different players, different coaches.

Watching your "supporters" walk out at half time I do wonder whether it's time to change your fans.

Honest question, if Liverpool were 4-0 down to United at half time would there not be loads of fans walking out too?

It's a similar sense that we're in the twilight of Solskjaer's time but I think the circumstances and vibes are quite different.

Journalists who were at the press conference after the 0-5 have reported they were grilling him with 'is this the end of the road for you?' type questions and Solskjaer was calmly and politely answering them. That's a million miles from the end of days mood around Mourinho, where the toxicity was palpable from the summertime onward. Ole's failure has been in tactical and coaching ability; while the players are now understandably lacking in faith, I don't think there's much comparison with the cultural failure that characterised the End Times of the Jose era. You can take a very distant view that 'everything ends badly' (in which case just about every managerial sacking looks the same). But if you're comparing dismissals - in fact, if you put our last four managers' downfalls on a spectrum, I suspect Solskjaer and Mourinho would be at opposite ends, with Moyes and LVG in the middle.

I want to add for context, if this was during the Roy Hodgson years which is comparable to the Ole years.

Interesting that Robbing chooses to characterise the supporters by the 20% who left rather than the 80% who stayed. You can see what you want to, depending on where you want to look. After the match and after spending ages doing media interviews, Solskjaer left the stadium to find a group of fans waiting for him hoping to get autographs.

It's almost as if when you get tens of thousands of people deriving from diverse demographics, they don't conform to a homogeneous profile. Then again, all Liverpool supporters indulge in reductive generalisations, don't they?

Its what Robbing does. He dresses himself up as a serious poster, but most of the times its just petty little jibes.

"Solskjaer left the stadium to find a group of fans waiting for him hoping to get autographs"

Yeah I read this on a tweet, has virtually been ignored by the media. Fans might not be happy and feel Ole's time is up but many (most I think) still love Ole for what he's done for the club.

let the dippers have their day... according to them ole is the major issue, so when he has gone, the tide will likely turn too

No, it’s different in Liverpool, their fans are so much better than everyone else’s - didn’t you know?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They're definitely so much better than your lot that's for sure.

I've never seen such a bunch of entitled, whiney сunts as your lot at any other club.

And then there are hardcore supporters like me, who kept the radio on till way after the match and even listened to the phone-in.

Utd have some of the best away fans in the entire world, although I don't like sitting near them as they tend to spit on you or worse, but yes they are very loyal.

The prawn lot, not so much.

Isn't it mad how many posters spend so much time discussing our club? I barely ever venture over onto the other boards.

Is it?

You’ve just brought back a club legend in Ronaldo, you’ve got one of the best young strikers in world football and the owners have given the manager the funds to buy any player he wants!

Under Woy

We sold one of our best players in Mascherano and brought in Paul Konchesky and Christian Poulsen and he told our defenders to bypass the midfield and hoof it long!
