I meant in the sense that both managers were out of their depth and if at 4-0 down at half time the fans of either club would feel so aggrieved at the state of the club they could justify a walk out
I’m sure Liverpool fans rightly love what a great job Klopp has done that a walk out at half time would be far less likely than had it happened under Roy

When I was last in Australia as a kid it cost $20 to call the UK for 20 minutes and that was such a rare treat to call family that each minute was savoured like a fine wine. The other day I was at Bondi beach and called a mate in the UK for an hour using WhatsApp voice calling basically for free.
Gotta love modern tech. We just need to perfect VR technology and I can be at OT watching games from Australia. And if we’re losing 4-0 I can just take the headset off and avoid the long walk home down the Warwick road
I actually listened to 606 after the game for the first time in ages and a bloke phoned in and said we should get Keane in as manager and I realised why I stopped listening to it.
Bart wouldn't have got into all that trouble if he called Australia these days.

Interesting that Robbing chooses to characterise the supporters by the 20% who left rather than the 80% who stayed. You can see what you want to, depending on where you want to look. After the match and after spending ages doing media interviews, Solskjaer left the stadium to find a group of fans waiting for him hoping to get autographs.
It's almost as if when you get tens of thousands of people deriving from diverse demographics, they don't conform to a homogeneous profile. Then again, all Liverpool supporters indulge in reductive generalisations, don't they?

I don’t mind VC so much. He’s like a grizzled sergeant major who’s just discovered the internet and slowly but surely he’s letting nuance into his life after repeated interactions with different types of people from the ones he normally sees at his local gun club.

When I was last in Australia as a kid it cost $20 to call the UK for 20 minutes and that was such a rare treat to call family that each minute was savoured like a fine wine. The other day I was at Bondi beach and called a mate in the UK for an hour using WhatsApp voice calling basically for free.
Gotta love modern tech. We just need to perfect VR technology and I can be at OT watching games from Australia. And if we’re losing 4-0 I can just take the headset off and avoid the long walk home down the Warwick road

Utd have tried lots of different approaches since Fergie.

Watching your "supporters" walk out at half time I do wonder whether it's time to change your fans.

Interesting that Robbing chooses to characterise the supporters by the 20% who left rather than the 80% who stayed. You can see what you want to, depending on where you want to look. After the match and after spending ages doing media interviews, Solskjaer left the stadium to find a group of fans waiting for him hoping to get autographs.
It's almost as if when you get tens of thousands of people deriving from diverse demographics, they don't conform to a homogeneous profile. Then again, all Liverpool supporters indulge in reductive generalisations, don't they?
