I mean it goes against all my instincts as I feel it could end in disaster but it could be a fun ride. Getting someone like Conte in could, in all seriousness, push Levy and Lewis to finally splash some cash. You don’t get him unless you’re making financial assurances. Simple as that. Getting him in is making that commitment. A younger, more progressive manager like Potter would have been brought in to work under ENIC’s current restrictions, a bit like Poch was. Conte won’t allow that to happen. He’ll just walk if he’s not backed.

At least that news has put a smile on my face this Monday morning !

Can’t help but feel sorry for Nuno who is a nice guy but an utterly clueless coach for a club our size …..wolves is his level and I’m sure he will do well again at a smaller club with less expectation
