Talk about kicking a man when he’s/they’re down, but it has to be said. I have to say that City dominated you more than we did and we spanked you 0-5.

Greenwood, again for me, tried his best but he was a lone man. Then, subbed again. Sancho? He’s got to be given time but City wouldn’t allow it. The lesser-spotted Van de Beek added little if anything to your game.

Cutting to the chase, I’ve yet to see a single player, either home-grown or bought in, at times at enormous and unjustifiable cost, who, since playing for your first team has improved their game.

Those who have regressed? Hold me back ….

Your future?‘it’s quite evident to me.

the defeat to MCFC was at least understandable, easy to to call and expected etc.

The other one was wasn't and should not have happened.

but it isn't "pride" that missing, it is a footballing plan that is a absent, and there consequently hasn't been the resources allocated to achieve that plan.

There hasn't been a plan for nearly ten years now. Thus every, and any, coach that has come in (or will come in) has/ is going to be stuck with the same problem.

the problem is simple to identify and rectify, and rectifying it needs to come first before anything like success can be considered.

Identify the 10 most obvious 'positions' (4-4-2 is the most obvious template for that, if you like) on the field of play and then scour the premier league for the 10 most suitable 23-28yr old players to fill those positions.

No 'big name' signings, just get out there and build around EPL established, strong, consistent, and intelligent players that are specialists in their relevant roles.

The flowery/fiery stuff can come later when the basics are in place. A rose may look glamourous in the garden, but not so when it is engulfed in weeds.

players like rashford, mctominay, lindelof, bailly, lingard, telles, dalot (even martial and/ or greenwood) have nothing to contribute to a club that. they are so ordinary to less than ordinary that it actually makes the work for the extraordinary worse than difficult

It was a big improvement on the Liverpool game. Defence close to perfect apart from 2 unlucky moments which didn't really affect the result. You can't argue that we've not progressed since the Liverpool game. Ole is taking us in the right direction
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What game were you watching, could and should have been 4 -5 nothing at halftime. Just like Liverpool they took the foot off the pedal and played possession. Ole Just does not have it.

No sense of effective ideas from the board.

Poor coaching and poor manager. And the board still don't act.

No other big club would accept the handling of this club the way that it has happened here.

Really in frustrated at how poor this club has been run.

They're holding on til December as we have a really easy run from December to February. Even Ole will probably average over 2 points per game in that period.

Then the board will be able to say we're heading in the right direction again. Even though we're already out of the title race in the first week of November

There's still time to salavage a respectable 4th place finish if we get our act together asap. But that isn't going to happen under Ole.

The real sticking point is choosing the right manager. Or at the very least a good interim manager. But in the meantime we're suffering in pretty much every game until we're put out of our misery.

There's something so refreshing about seeing an older gentleman refer to someone as "numbnuts." Thanks for making me smile on a pretty miserable afternoon 🤣

My pleasure merry. You are right is was a miserable afternoon, they were so much better than us, and we definitely need someone else at the helm.
But I will get over it with dinner, half a bottle of red, and some music on.

“It was a big improvement on the Liverpool game. Defence close to perfect apart from 2 unlucky moments which didn't really affect the result.”

A big improvement. Where? Who by? City dominated you even more than we did. For approx 80 minutes, the had and kept the ball. You were - at times, only - chasing shadows. It wasn’t even a practice match for them, it was more of a kick-about between mates. That’s how dominant they were. They should have scored more goals, as we should have too.

2 unlucky moments? Please don’t say it was the goals, please, spare us all.

Defence close to perfect. What does your defence look like when it isn’t perfect?

This is a wum isn’t it, it’s got to be.
