I’ve not looked for one but am surprised they are still hard to obtain.
Impossible to get, and its a disgrace, just ramp up the production. No chips is all just a smokescreen to keep the demand up, but all it does is push prices up on secondary markets.
Admin 3, the PS5 is outselling the PS4 at this point of release. The chip shortage is real, and affecting all sorts of businesses, The Automotive industry being hit hard.
If Sony could boost production they would. I cant imagine the PS5 shortages will last another year, so it is only a matter of time.
When that will be though is any ones guess
Yeah I don't think it was planned this way but the success they've had with it makes me worry for future plans
I’m not a PC gamer by any means, but a mate of mine who is was saying that the latest GPU card - the Nvidia RTX something or other - has also been notoriously hard to get and was up over a grand on secondary markets.
We’ve seen Maccy’s run out of milkshake, KFC & Nando’s run out of chicken, an oil shortage, et al. So surely the supply chain issues are a very real ramification of the pandemic and subsequent global strain?
Anyway, on PS5’s anniversary, someone on here recommended Days Gone a few weeks ago and what a game! The reviews are disgraceful, frankly.
There are glitches - a few unacceptable and game breaking, particularly 2 years after release - but even with those, it’s at least an 8/10.
Fix the significant glitches (I did a mission in which a cave I was meant to be walking up and out of just disappeared and my character was falling through a no -existent floor), and you’re talking about a 9 or 10/10.
Next up is GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition, but I’ve seen quite a few complaints online already, so trying not to get my hopes up

No it’s not. There really is a shortage around, try ordering a server or gfx card, you’ll see
I actually started Days Gone, enjoyed it and then went through a busy period and couldn't play anything for a month or so and have never got around to picking it up again.
Did the same thing with RDR2 and it ended up being possibly my favourite game of all time so will defo have to circle back to Days Gone.

I did the exact same with RDR2 and totally agree on how good it was in the end. Definitely go back to Days Gone; it’s actually similar to RDR2 I guess in terms of the will to keep realism, length, combat style. RDR2 is definitely better, but as you say, it’s better than 99% of games.
Bought Sekiro and going to start that as I watched some videos on the network test for Elden Ring and got excited. Sekiro is the only From Software game since Demon’s Souls that I haven’t played and completed, so looking forward to it - my favourite developer

And unfortunately Amiga it's getting worse and Sony are infact cutting production of PS5s, so they will become even more difficult bro get hold of and alas won't be on shelves anytime soon.
And in regards to Days Gone, it was a buggy mess on release hence the bad reviews, but yeh hopefully with the PC release Sony may consider a sequel as honestly after they fixed it, it's a hidden gem of a game, and in all honesty made for the PS5/PC.

Yes! It’s all about Elden Ring now. Been watching some network tests videos and it looks great.
Hopefully around the time of release there will be some PS5 in stock as I feel this game is calling for me to buy one.
I also really want to try Demon Souls as well. Sekiro too! I’m hearing the latter is the hardest of all Soulsbourne games
I agree as well they are my favourite developer too ahead of the likes of Rockstar, Naughty Dog and Ubisoft.
I’m currently doing an NG1 play through of Bloodbourne which is probably my favourite game of all time. I’ve got an NG1 play through of DS3 on the go too. I did download DS1 remastered but it’s slow pace is making it difficult to get into. Never played the original.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you played Ghost of Tsushima? Most satisfying combat for me outside of Souls, and arguably better, just not as difficult.

No I haven’t Simon. Ive heard the visuals and gameplay is very good mind. It’s still on the high end price wise I’ve noticed. Wonder if it might eventually become to PS Now
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It will get there ala Days Gone I am sure, but these often take a while - I grabbed mine on a good sale so was 50% for the directors cut so was well pleased with that. But like Days Gone was one I had no interest in but totally blew me away. I would keep an eye on sales and especially the 12 days of Xmas that usually have some good ones.

Days gone is something I’d like to play. Still got FC 5 and 6 to play too.
Just been completely addicted to playing Soulsbourne games I’ve not thought of any others.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeh I have fallen behind a little with my Souls after my PS4 broke. But next I am guessing will be Demon Souls and then maybe Seirko after that (I like Ghost but don't think I can play 2 samurai games 1 after another) and by then I am sure we'll have a good idea about Elden Ring. Might try and do another full BB run too.
Just reinstalling Days Gone now, gonna give it a second crack
With you guys on blood borne and souls games love them. Sekiro was just too hard in the end, I never completed it either, infact I made it to the rooftop bit with those ninjas firing stuff everywhere, too much.
A new souls game is almost certainly top of my list. Along with dead space remake (another stone cold classic).
Gotta confess, a little let down with Sekiro. I think Nioh actually did it better, and the sequel to Nioh is supposedly even better than the first, but I can’t testify.
I just haven’t found the controls as tight - which is imperative for a fast paced game like this - and I don’t like that there isn’t a proper levelling up system that allows you to tailor your build to your playstyle. Also hasn’t felt as engagingly creepy as Soulsborne games. I feel genuine trepidation when playing them, whereas with this, it’s like I want to continue playing out of spite to prove it’s not the difficulty that puts me off of it.
Ghost is also better and is an absolute masterpiece of its own accord, but very different feel, so makes a direct comparison kind of difficult. Nioh and Sekiro are almost like for like.
It has made me re-download DS2, which is the only souls game I don’t like, for another try. I will probably end up doing another run through Bloodborne in the end! Never actually did the DLC, so that could be interesting; heard it’s absolutely solid.
