Bielsa out, sick of this s#it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What’s he supposed to do with half the team out sick or injured? Conjure up somebody?
Good effort by our lads but Spurs started the second half on fire and all the 50/50 balls we had been winning in the first half were all going to them. They have top quality forwards and when they started running at us with the ball they were very dangerous. Oddly enough it was not them that scored the 2 soft goals that won it for them
Like the rest of the team in the first half, DJ was superb. And like the rest of the team in the second half, he wasn’t…
It's Lowfields Maid, It's what he does
Agree there's some positives to take from that.
I'm sorry I'm sure he is a nice lad and tries his best but everyone must agree Roberts just isn't Premier league quality and as soon as he came on we never looked like getting a sniff at their goal.
Poor hold up play mis placed passes and McKinstry showed more skill and composure in one touch and I think if he had come on sooner instead of Roberts we would have posed a bigger threat.
I actually think Bielsa is not helping Roberts now as he looks lost, devoid of belief and just like a rabbit in the headlights and in my opinion we should at least let him go out on loan in January.
For me that was the only negative today as we were right in the game for 70minutes and the rest of the team should feel satisfied with their efforts if not the end result sadly.

The commentators mentioned that Roberts is still looking to find his best position.
I think - on the settee watching the game on the telly.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This 100%. He shouldn't grace the field for us again. Just not good enough. Would rather a youngster was given the chance.

He's featured in every game so far this season.
I mean that alone feels like probably the most depressing stat of our season
Bitterly disappointing to lose that, they got a bit of luck.
We need to sign a few new players, or we’ll end up relegated. We can’t go on with constantly depleted squad.
I agree we need a few more bodies. Maybe the £53m in the bank might get used in January if needed.
I still think we will be fine once everyone is back. It’s just the back up that’s worrying.
I actually do feel sorry for Roberts now but he needs to rebuild his confidence at a championship club as he looks out of his depth in the Premier league and it's got to the point that I would rather have Quigley at non league Stockport coming on as a sub for us than Roberts.
We didn't lose that game because of Roberts.

No, but he didn’t do anything that helped us to turn it around. He has had so many games to improve, but he hasn’t and he gives the ball away and cannot score goals so I fail to see what he brings to the team.
I would rather one of the talented youngsters got a chance - Roberts has had far too many.
No we didn't lose the match because of Roberts but we never looked like getting close to an equaliser when he came on.
He had no impact whatsoever and actually made the side weaker imo with his poor control and misplaced passing.
Mckinstry gave us more with his few minutes of game time and I personally would prefer Mckinstry or any other mudfield/attacking sub given a chance ahead of the ineffective and devoid of confidence Roberts.
MaidinLeeds you beat me to it and pretty much echo my feelings and many others about Roberts
Think Roberts first touch was a peach of pass that set up a dangerous attack on our left.
Other than a poor first time pass from a throw-in that he played straight out of play I can’t recall anything else he did wrong.
Some of the posts on here get worse
When you make a change, it is with the possibility that they might change a game, not the expectation. Roberts didn't have his best game, but nobody was particularly good in that second half.
We lost the game because we were too slow out of the gates second half, and allowed them to set the tempo. If we came out stronger, with a better intensity, we would have won.
If you would rather McKinstry came on then you need your head checking. I'm sorry, but that's just the truth.
I don't need my head testing thank you very much.
From what we had on the bench today Mckinstry or Greenwood were better options than Roberts.
That was the point I was making.
Obviously there are some on here that still have faith in Tyler but I just do not see it happening for the lad now.
Also Firpo looks a poor replacement for Alioski and Struiyk looks a far better option at LB.
They just objectively aren't better options, though. McKinstry came on and did nothing. Didn't try to affect the game. I think the lad has promise, but its way to soon. I was surprised he opted for him and not Greenwood, to be honest.
Roberts comes on and he tries to affect the game. He doesn't hide, and he doesn't shy away. Kebab has already pointed to a peach of a pass he played. Doesn't always work, but he gets us on the ball and puts us on the front foot.
If you came out of that second half whinging about Tyler being bad then you're either plain wrong, or have some form of agenda against him in particular.
Certainly need your eyes testing!
Massive agenda against Roberts
Chris Wood got abuse - scored 27 goals next season and fans didn’t want him to leave but he did.
Kemar Roofe got abuse - scored 26 goals over 2 seasons and became a very important player for us
Patrick Bamford got abuse - his goals took us to the premier and 9th placed finish.
Madness
Its ridiculous. Over the last few years in the championship there were clear agendas against Bamford, Cooper, and Dallas, amongst others. Each have played crucial roles in the years Bielsa has been here.
Roberts isn't there problem. We have some fans who always hang their abuse on one player. God knows why but they do.
O.K he’s not what we need going forward but he’s certainly not the reason we lost today.
