Have any of these "emergency" meetings ever ended in a manager not being sacked? I mean has a board ever called a manager up in an emergency to say they are on thin ice?

Would be great if it was a last warning or something. "Any more of those Ole and you'll be sacked". As if that would make a difference.

Never shown an interest in stepping outside of Madrid, not speaking a word of English, tactically questionable Zidane. Its pretty widely recognised that Zidane is great at communicating and Man management, but when you cam hardly speak a word of the language that most speak, that takes away a big part of his management.

I'm sure he can speak some English.

The good thing about ZZ is it would be short term, probably with him walking out—can't rely on this board sacking at the right time.

Zidane would be like jumping out of the frying pan into the fire.
