So. How long before your next manager will go? Serious question because you have everything from Moyes the chosen one who is doing a great job at West ham. LVG and Mourhino who were 'big' enough for United and finally a club legend. When will fans and media realise you need to cut your cloth. Clubs will have cycles and you will not dominate the league as you used too. Let's face it I accept my club are a long way off but need to give him time. You will never become a successful club if you keep being all knee jerk about it all. I think the media are truly culpable in this too. How many Man U articles have I read when other teams have been playing that evening. Media are responsible for whipping up a frenzy.

In the summer. New goalkeeper, right back, 2 x centre mids should be bare minimum.

Maguire would look a lot better in front of a commanding goalkeeper, decent midfielders.

AWB will never look like a footballer, no positional sense and chit on the ball.

How many of those managers have won a trophy since leaving united?

We need a world class manager to win major trophies. Not past it, or never was managers

I think Moyes might be on the brink of a trophy albeit not major.
Don't see the obsession with world class either. They 3ill want to bring their own staff and players. Could be a period of settling in. Maybe a 'new manager' lift for a few games. So what if Zidane or Ten Hag have not won anything after two seasons? What then? You would have tried world class.
Wenger wasn't world class when he arrived at Arsenal. I think you have to look at a left field appointment and give them time. Around half your players need to look themselves in the mirror too. Too many players (in all clubs) getting away with under performing and letting down their managers. Disgraceful.

You really think of al the priories, the top is stripping Maguire of the captaincy?

There is a festering cancer in your dressing room. Certain players have basically downed tools for various managers.

Pogba and Martial spring to mind.

Cut out the tumour should be the managers priority. Plenty of utd fans blindly defend Pogba, he may have ability, but he epitomises all that is wrong with your club.

What you really need is the board to admit they haven’t a clue and for them to hire a complete management team who have. It’s what City did with Soriano and Bergiristan. It worked. Otherwise it’s just groundhog day.

It's pretty obvious Bruno would make a better captain than Slabhead.

100% agree.

Nit sure why pogba should always be called our. I think players like maguire have been even worse tbh. His performers are pathetic and when they got smashed 5 nil by us he admitted he didn't even want to front up.

Pogba will be going in the summer when his contract runs out so I don't now why people still mention him.

Yes he does exemplify united problems for the last few years, talent far exceeds his actual impact week to week, but again, maybe under a better manager like Guardiola or a Conte, he may have thrived.

It really is this simple.

“Build our midfield around Van Der Beek.”

“This isn't rocket science. It's basic stuff. Pep , Klopp , Tuchel and any other top managers in world football would do this.”

We need a proper, tactically astute head coach, not a manager.

1) This ^ + hire a Director of Football that can figure out which manager is genuinely up for it and isn't gullible like that asshoe Ed Woodward.
2) Also, remove the f@cker Ed Woodward the c@nt from all football related decision making role.
3) Make sure the Manager has a clear plan of action regarding coaching and football style.
4) Then take care of the duds/deadweights like AWB, Fred, Mata, Jones, etc. etc.
5) Get rid of wantaways like Pogba, Lingard etc.

Maybe people.should focus less on players names and more on work rate.

Not one mention of the passengers not tracking back here.

New managers first job is to improve the side shape and tackling/duels stats which are far key worse than norwich and Newcastle

This is true. I always think if I were the manager of the opposition what would I do against Liverpool? Well we would have to match them for work rate and effort, if we don't, we'll lose. We should take some risks when they have the ball between the defence and goalkeeper as they take massive risks there. We should set up with pace on the counter as they play high and again take risks. If you set up simply to defend, they'll likely find a way through and then you'll have to revert to this plan anyway. Take the risk from the start and see if its working out before dropping back. If you get the goal then drop back. West Ham did exactly this against us.

If I'm setting up against United it seems quite simple. Outwork them as they don't work hard enough. Most teams can easily outwork United. The defence can't cope with pressure, the players are not calm and the rest of the team don't work hard enough to help them.

This used to be an old style tactic for weaker sides against stronger ones but for a while now the top teams are able to not only have the opposition beat on ability but have them beat in workrate. United are missing this.
