As for drink at the game I'm going to suggest the guy was possibly quite drunk and perhaps had a good few before the game

The United fan is an absolute clown and shouldn't be anywhere near Tannadice again. Dreadful decision from Madden and sends entirely the wrong message.
I'm not sure if a yellow can be rescinded but I hope it is in this situation.

It is mistaken identity, he mistaken for someone who did something wrong!! I heard about the incident on the radio and when they mentioned it was on camera I thought maybe we would see Ivan had snapped but thankfully it was some other guy

If a Celtic player does that at Ibrox or a Rangers player at CP then all hell would break loose.

In fairness he'd already left the park before the incident.
I don't think there's anything specific in the rules for this type of incident so I presume it's at the referees discretion. I feel the ref didn't need to give the card but chose to do so after Ojo turned back towards the player.
I think in the circumstances the referee should have been lenient.

The frustration is you see refs the world over being lenient with 2nd yellows for a whole variety of reasons and this sounds like a clear opportunity to show common sense? But then we have no idea how the refs are being 'marked' by the eye in the sky.

After an investigation into an incident during the Dundee United and Aberdeen match in Dundee yesterday, a fat 35yo balloon, has been arrested and charged in connection with the assault of an Aberdeen FC player.
He has been released on undertaking to appear at Dundee SC at a later date.
They are only humans cant hold them to higher standards than we hold ourselves. He has every right to retaliate
A few years ago when United were in Europe, didn't the same fud run onto the pitch in two different games?
Hopefully the punishment is more permanent with this particular brand of fuddery.
Still have to love the result though. I'm not entirely sure of Aberdeen's tactics of constantly crossing the ball to Edwards and Mulgrew, two of the best headerers in the league. If that's their plan any time they play us then I welcome it.
Was good to see Appéré be so influential too. There's a talent there but doesn't often get to show it.

After the match he punched one of the United fans who were at hospitality after the fan said "you were unlucky today" while smiling at him.

We never got the European ref when they were covering for the Scottish counterparts as our game was snowed off.
Wish we could get different officials more often. Although not like that famous ref in the match with Holland and I cannae mind who the opposition were but the red card was getting brandished about as though he was a bidder in an auction.
