the amount of goals rangers have conceded against shots on target is quite staggering, but can be fixed if they defence is sorted.
if i were a rangers fan right now i'd be thinking "i'm a fat ugly basturd".

I'm not sure how this is relevant but I'll bite. A few points on this.
If that was Celtic fans, i unreservedly condemn that behaviour and I hope they are caught, banned from matches and, if appropriate, get some jail time.
Having said that, a few additional points-
1 I find it strange that they wore clothing identifying themselves not just as Celtic fans but as belonging to some group. Would have been as well putting their names on the shirts. I've never seen any of them do that at home or away.
2 whilst I completely condemn the behaviour on Saturday I don't feel any real sympathy for the owners or occupants of a bar named after the leader of Britain's wartime F@scists. And don't give me the stuff about the name of the street.
If you think that booing your own black players for taking the knee wasn't going to have an impact on them then you're deluded.
They made 1 very good goal themselves
We practically gave them the other two
Having a 3 goal lead allows you to sit back…..yes
But I’d go as far as to say that Hibs were already looking to sit back and defend their lead a bit when they went 1-0 up……it’s was headed clearance, after blocked shot, after good defensive tackle pretty much from when they scored early doors until the end of the game.
The two goals they scored after the first one…were during counter attacks, and during periods which turned out to be rather rare periods when they were up the pitch with possession in and around our box.
I give Hibs credit for the goals they scored and the chances they took….but we had more than enough possession, more than enough of the ball in dangerous areas, and more than enough opportunities to score more than one goal…we just didn’t take them, due to poor finishing, poor final ball, and a general lack of imagination in possession.

i agree totally, all was doinf was defending myself from POV having a go at what I wrote when it was in direct retaliation to what Magnum wrote. He seemed to have a problem with me doing it but no problem with Mags doing it. Mine was done wiht tongue in cheek (i thought that was clear) POV took his tampon out and jumpd th gun IMO.

Why in a cup semi v a team who lost 4 on the bounce and hadn't played for 3 weeks did you rest them?
i thought when rangers got one that it was vital they got a second before half time, and if they had then i reckon they would have gone on to win it.
there was pressure at the end of the first half and start of the second, but pressure was about it.

There was only Rangers fans there.
I'm not denying it was Celtic fans. But I will await confirmation because I find the circumstances curious.
I have no issue criticising the unsavoury elements in the Celtic support on here.i certainly do it more than I ever see any Rangers supporter criticising anything about their club.

Can we perhaps set up a test case.
We will watch the start of every game in the top tier and listen when the players take a knee. Then we will assess the data to see if there are any common themes.
Ok just did it. I cannot say which fans are booing in these cases, so both teams get a mark against them. Some teams have marks against them even if they had no fans in the ground

Not really. Since your return, you’ve done nothing but go for equivalence since day one.
One comment was about a worldwide movement condemning racism, your’s was a cheap shot for a reply.
One happened in the ground, the other didn’t.
But aye, apart from that-exactly the same.
Instead of being able to address the point made, you went down the ‘aye bit’ road-and couldn’t even do that right.
I’ll stick with my previous assessment.
I seriously doubt any fan would side with what happened at oswalds, and it’s irrelevant to how it affects players.
I do know one fan that’s still owed £100 though.

the amount of goals rangers have conceded against shots on target is quite staggering, but can be fixed if they defence is sorted.

I'm not sure how this is relevant but I'll bite. A few points on this.
If that was Celtic fans, i unreservedly condemn that behaviour and I hope they are caught, banned from matches and, if appropriate, get some jail time.

1 I find it strange that they wore clothing identifying themselves not just as Celtic fans but as belonging to some group. Would have been as well putting their names on the shirts. I've never seen any of them do that at home or away.
2 whilst I completely condemn the behaviour on Saturday I don't feel any real sympathy for the owners or occupants of a bar named after the leader of Britain's wartime F@scists. And don't give me the stuff about the name of the street.

They made 1 very good goal themselves
We practically gave them the other two
Having a 3 goal lead allows you to sit back…..yes
But I’d go as far as to say that Hibs were already looking to sit back and defend their lead a bit when they went 1-0 up……it’s was headed clearance, after blocked shot, after good defensive tackle pretty much from when they scored early doors until the end of the game.
The two goals they scored after the first one…were during counter attacks, and during periods which turned out to be rather rare periods when they were up the pitch with possession in and around our box.
I give Hibs credit for the goals they scored and the chances they took….but we had more than enough possession, more than enough of the ball in dangerous areas, and more than enough opportunities to score more than one goal…we just didn’t take them, due to poor finishing, poor final ball, and a general lack of imagination in possession.

Are we back to debating over which team's arrsehole supporters are worse. I've seen a clip of the Oswald thing. It's amazing how the camera throws things like glass bottles while the Rangers fan stand by doing nothing and it is only Celtic fans being bad.
On the M74 we have no context as to who started it and to be honest who cares it is an absolute embarrassment to both clubs that fans would behave in such a way never mind the danger they put themselves and other motorists into

i agree totally, all was doinf was defending myself from POV having a go at what I wrote when it was in direct retaliation to what Magnum wrote. Having said that, a few additional points-
1 I find it strange that they wore clothing identifying themselves not just as Celtic fans but as belonging to some group. Would have been as well putting their names on the shirts. I've never seen any of them do that at home or away.
2 whilst I completely condemn the behaviour on Saturday I don't feel any real sympathy for the owners or occupants of a bar named after the leader of Britain's wartime F@scists. And don't give me the stuff about the name of the street.
If you think that booing your own black players for taking the knee wasn't going to have an impact on them then you're deluded.

I have no issue criticising the unsavoury elements in the Celtic support on here.i certainly do it more than I ever see any Rangers supporter criticising anything about their club.

the amount of goals rangers have conceded against shots on target is quite staggering, but can be fixed if they defence is sorted.

Can we perhaps set up a test case.
We will watch the start of every game in the top tier and listen when the players take a knee. Then we will assess the data to see if there are any common themes.
Ok just did it. I cannot say which fans are booing in these cases, so both teams get a mark against them. Some teams have marks against them even if they had no fans in the ground
Rangers 14 - including cup games
Hibs 2 - including cup games
Motherwell 2
Ross County 2
Celtic 1
Hearts 1
St Johnstone 1
St Mirren 1
Aberdeen 1
Dundee Utd 1
