Yeah but they’re playing Mura, who should… SHOULD… be getting beat by 5 or 6 so if it’s about goal difference and not head to head then I still don’t think a narrow victory for us will be enough.,

Yeah that's a fair point. You probably need to win by at least 2 you'd think. Rennes will likely throw the stiffs out though, which should improve your chances. Still need your own second string players to seriously up their games though.

I hope we don't qualify. Our 'B team' have been shocking all season and even for Jose before Nuno and now Conte. We don't deserve to go through. We will only embarrass ourselves again further down the line.

We have a half decent first eleven and that's it. An injury to a key player like Son, Kane, PEH or Skipp(Our only decent CM's) are we truly in the mud. Look at Romero. We again have to rely on Dier to be main man in our defence for another month.

It's a shambles. You could get Klopp or Pep managing this lot and it wouldn't make a difference.

If Conte can somehow grind enough results between now and January then fair enough. We will probably go out to West Ham in the Cup and defo lose to Liverpool and probably Leicester too.

I hope he prioritises the league game and plays a similar team against Rennes. We should play our B team again. It's not fair on the first team players to play Thursday then Sunday. We will only risks injuries to Kane, Son, Skipp and PEH in particular.

You could have City’s squad and Conte would still find a way to get knocked out of this group.
