Austria in Vienna would be better for our chances than Wales in Cardiff imo. Fresh off our win in Vienna recently.
Cardiff will be better for the fans, i'll go even without a ticket. They are a tougher challenge though especially at home but it's about time we turn them over, we owe them one for the pumpings.

To be fair you are right in a way as we earned the right of the home draw in the semi, but that,s now twice serbia and Wales where the luck of the draw decides and both times unlucky drawing both serbia and Wales away, although the silver lining is we have avoided a more difficult pathway such as involving Italy or Portugal, I think those two teams sets of supporters will be more upset though having to play each other in the final.
The 2nd draw was an open draw, nothing to do with seedings.

Well you would hope it would be random
So we could still play Austria away in the final though although they weren't seeded in the first place, quite a strange process in a way although I suppose the seeding only counts for the semi-final then.
Happy with the draw ,could have been a lot worse .Ukraine will be tough even at home and if we get through the Welsh will still be harping on about big Joe getting that penalty.Then the tragic death of big Jock in Cardiff in1985 was a real bitter memory for us.
Just remember No Scotland No Party.Though it will be a strange party in the no party Qatar

Or are you full English, hence why you love the seeding system so much as it means you play San Marino AND Andorra every qualification group, then Panama and Algeria in the world cup groups, then maybe one good side once every 4 years or so, so you keep your high seeding?

I think you have to be pleased to avoid Portugal and Italy and get a potential two home games. All four teams will fancy their chances too I reckon. Scotland have improved a lot and I'd say they have better players than us overall but we have a few players who are better than their best ones.

Yeah you would have thought if the seeded teams would have carried through to the final if they came up against a non- seeded team again in the final, but I suppose they just clean the slate and make it evenly balanced as if the non-seeded team wins the semi-final away their reward is is a chance of a home tie in the final, fair I suppose.

That’s pretty much how I would see it. Home advantage should get you over the line plus Ramsey and bale always turn up. Scotland have a pretty decent midfield these days. You both have to beat Austria and the Ukraine first!

Couldn't really ask for a better draw apart from being away in the final if we make it. The toughest team in the path at home, then anyone's game in the final. We avoided Italy, Portugal, Russia, Poland, Sweden. Unbelievable.

Why are Wales at home and not Scotland? Didn’t they finish higher than Wales in the ranking table?

Well, what was the point in finishing high in that second placed table if another team that came much lower lucked out with the draw? Should be done on where the teams finished for home advantage, like seeding.

To be fair you are right in a way as we earned the right of the home draw in the semi, but that,s now twice serbia and Wales where the luck of the draw decides and both times unlucky drawing both serbia and Wales away, although the silver lining is we have avoided a more difficult pathway such as involving Italy or Portugal, I think those two teams sets of supporters will be more upset though having to play each other in the final.

So we could still play Austria away in the final though although they weren't seeded in the first place, quite a strange process in a way although I suppose the seeding only counts for the semi-final then.

Happy with the draw ,could have been a lot worse .Ukraine will be tough even at home and if we get through the Welsh will still be harping on about big Joe getting that penalty.Then the tragic death of big Jock in Cardiff in1985 was a real bitter memory for us.
Just remember No Scotland No Party.Though it will be a strange party in the no party Qatar

I think Wales and Scotland will be pretty pleased with that draw. A chance for us to get revenge for Joe Jordan in 1977 if we reach the final.
I'm really surprised to see Portugal in the same route as Italy though. I really did think they'd do something additional to the seedings to the top three ranked nations were in separate paths.

Are you not half Scotch Baz? Or are you full English, hence why you love the seeding system so much as it means you play San Marino AND Andorra every qualification group, then Panama and Algeria in the world cup groups, then maybe one good side once every 4 years or so, so you keep your high seeding?

I think you have to be pleased to avoid Portugal and Italy and get a potential two home games. All four teams will fancy their chances too I reckon. Scotland have improved a lot and I'd say they have better players than us overall but we have a few players who are better than their best ones.

Yeah you would have thought if the seeded teams would have carried through to the final if they came up against a non- seeded team again in the final, but I suppose they just clean the slate and make it evenly balanced as if the non-seeded team wins the semi-final away their reward is is a chance of a home tie in the final, fair I suppose.

That’s pretty much how I would see it. Home advantage should get you over the line plus Ramsey and bale always turn up. Scotland have a pretty decent midfield these days. You both have to beat Austria and the Ukraine first!
