All players get a clean slate now for me as it'll be interesting to see how he does in a higher-energy team. I do think Bruno needs to be rested now and again but I thought he was really bright when he came on at Villarreal. Yesterday though wasn't a game for many of our forward players to shine unfortunately.

I think he's just made his own way in the team so far, he was given the free role and made the most of it when he joined and during last season. Every players dips in form from time to time, I'll be interested to see how he performs under a manager that (I assume) will give him very specific instructions.

He should certainly have been rotated/rested more than he has. I think he needs a rest.

Will he even press in the Gugenheim system though? Him, Ronaldo and Pogba should be out of the team for it to work but they won't be because they are the shirt sellers.

Made a difference along with Rashford vs Villareal, lost the ball more than Donny had all game but his directness got us on the front foot and forced them back a little more until we scored.

Looks lost in terms of ideas at times, probably just from always having to do things on his own creativity wise. Think he could benefit from a more structured team if it means he finds himself in more dangerous positions more often, and more importantly other players in more dangerous positions.

I don’t agree that time on the bench is the approach now. Everyone will get a clean slate with Ralf, who will choose those best suited to his system.

I expect VDB to feature more with Bruno and Fred. I doubt Pogba will be right for the new manager. Cavani, Rashford and Sancho will be the go to front 3, with Lingard rotated in. Martial’s career with us is over.

I think he’s overplayed. He’s played in every single game this season starting all but 2.

What do you mean by " found out".?

And if I was managing him I would send him somewhere warm for two weeks, and do nothing at all.

I feel the whole team is suffering from a lack of confidence and that has related to poor performances from a good few players.

Bruno is a talent so hopefully his lack of form is temporary and he fill find his groove again soon

Bruno presses more than most. He’s not had a single bit of coaching since he’s been here.

What, you think they just leave him out on the training pitch doing his own thing all week?

Feck me, you really do post some of the dumbest things on the whole of the internet.

Penalties aren’t being given as easily as last season and Ronaldo would take them anyway.

Crazy to say Bruno can't press

In a more structured team I'm sure he will thrive. There's been a large weight on his shoulders in his time at United as he's been expected to create opens by himself a lot of the time. Must be mentally draining in a team that's playing poorly, low in confidence and not making the job easy with lack of movement and runs or options to feet.

They must send recordings of the training sessions to UWW, he seems very sure about this.

Maybe Culer sends him them? I can imagine these two being friends.

Unlike Ronaldo, for which we have many alternatives, there is no creative force even close to Bruno in this squad, other than Pogba who's even more of a conundrum. The Villarreal game only served to highlight that...

He needs to be set straight for sure... He's just doing so really stupid stuff.

Was really hoping we'd that a punt at Pereira from west brom as back...

Let me rephrase it for your simple brain. He hasn’t had a single bit of coaching that has improved him. He’s the same Bruno that came here from sporting, if not worse at the moment. This can be said for a whole host of players.

How many other players did we get from Sporting?

Maybe just say what you mean in the first place?

OP is making the classic mistake that many made in underrating Luka Modric and focusing on assists and goals rather than the pass that opens everything up to 'assist the assist'. Jorginho made the headlines yesterday with the one-touch lay-off for Sancho but it was the precision of Bruno's pass that broke the lines and created that devastating counter-attack.

Is Bruno fit enough to play high intensity Gelsenkirchen though? Sancho and Rashford are definitely up to it but I don't think Bruno is.

While it may be harder for him to get the goals/assists in a team thats lacking cohesion and confidence, none of this explains why he constantly misplaces simple passes whilst pocketing a few hundred £k a week.

maguire/awb/fernandes axis of crap.
