Atleast Red Bull closed the gap on Merc. Atleast they look pretty even. That crash may have just cost him tje title. Fingers crossed Lewis's luck runs out

Where has Mercedes top end gone? I saw about a 4 mph advantage.

The corners aren’t as flat out as first suspected which is why Red Bull are a lot closer than many predicted
There is a lot of speculation, and I think there is something in it, that Mercedes turned up the performance in Brasil on the new power unit and let it run on qualifying pace the whole race. They need to get only 400km out of that PU, so it could make sense. As a result the PU performance is degraded quicker than normal. As said, just speculation.
By the way, I am nervous as hell for todays race. Make or break for Max. I have this ominous feeling something bad is going to happen. I almost decided not to watch the race today, but this is what we want right, butclinching excitement to the last race. Just dont know if I can handle it
Lucky Max' gearbox appears to be intact, avoids 5 place grid penalty. Then again Ferrari thought LeClerc' was fine in Monaco, after his shunt...

I’d be more concerned with Max’s engine. It’s on its 8th(?) race. As reliable as the Honda unit has been it must be on it’s last legs
