I never realised how to activate so many people's buttons, then I discovered the press.

Talk about a come on

Nobody has answered the question yet. I played for my school, college, pubs and town back in the day when we had real footballs and the only press was what you did with the iron when it was your (or your Mum's) turn to launder the kit. To me "The Press" was a laundry cupboard.

It's just goes to show how little some people know about football to think the press is just about closing down quickly.
