2-2. Century apart, still fairly scrappy stuff
Nervy frame but relief for Barry levelling at 2-2.
That frame already looks like a big moment. Robbo leads 3-2.
Yep - at the time I thought, he's really close to that green
Robertson not playing great, but finds himself 3-2 ahead. Hawkins getting numerous chances but not scoring heavily enough - he's reached this final not playing great, and I thought he might show some improved form for the final, but just continuing in the same vain
Robbo now 4-2 up. Barry had a chance to steal there and he didn't take it.
You feel that Robertson is the type of player that can recover from errors and reel off a few frames, but it will affect Hawkins more and he won't really steamroller you. Hawkins needs to take these chances, because Robbo surely won't play as poorly tonight
Barry will be relieved to get a frame back.
5-3. Barry needs to stay with Robbo but I expect Robbo to pull away this evening.
Going to take a massive turnaround for Hawkins to win this. Both players should improve tonight. Enjoy the final - unless it drags on, I'll miss it, off to see Spiderman tonight
I hope you enjoy the Spiderman movie
Barry needs a big break. Scoring 30’s & 40’s are no good when your opponent can clear the balls in 1 visit
7-4. Barry desperately needs this final frame before the mid session interval.
Bloody typical that Barry plays really well against Judd last nightmaking many mistakes and he's playing absolutely shocking in this final.
Lots of people have been talking about the best player never to win a Triple Crown event. Who would you choose?
Hawkins
Fu
Carter
Stephen Lee
Wattana
Can’t think of many more
Stephen Lee and Kyren Wilson for me.
Kyren still may end up winning one though..

That was supposed to say not making many mistakes.
Has Judd won a triple crown event? 😂😝, I would say probably Marco Fu... another miss from Hawkins.. Scoring 11 won't win frames..
