Just True we are both correct, along with Neil Robertson, Davis beat Hallett 9-0 at the Masters, & Davis battered Reynolds 10-0 at the Grand Prix...
You are correct, Hallett also got banged by Davis. Was it the 1988 Masters before Hendry won 5 in a row?
I’m sure hallett lost 9-0 to Davis meaning this is 4th multi session final whitewash
Certainly was, 1988.. Before Hendry's 5 on the bounce, the McManus pipped Hendry 9-8 in 1994
So this is the 3rd ranking event multi session final which has been a whitewash.
4 including the Masters, I'm not certain if there have been any other whitewashes in other invitational events over the years which were multi session matches.
Ronnie did win some Premier League finals 6-0 and 7-0.
I suppose a best of 13 match could qualify as a multi session match. I’m not entirely sure.
Apparently Steve Davis beat Dennis Taylor 9-0 in 1981 International Open which was not a ranking event at the time.
I can't remember if the premier league final was multi session or not for best of 13. I think it's why most commentators just say 3rd whitewash in ranking events multi session finals to make it a lot easier lol.
Lol yes definitely 3 ranking final multi session whitewashes.
However, there might be a few hidden non-ranking ones
I don't think the Premier league finals were multi session, perhaps they had a 15 minute break after 5 rather than 7 frames
5 not 4 🤣, wish you could edit comments sometimes
Well on this website called Snooker Island you can edit comments. I think most of you should consider joining that site as well.
I'd probably have too many arguments, I'm happy with we what we have on here, we are knowledgeable and have good banter too
Good Championship league group tomorrow. Ronnie, Higgins, Kyren, Ding, Carter, Walden and Gould. On Freesports from 11am.
Trump vs Ronnie in the first round of the Players Championship too.

Feb 8

That's a shame mate, to be fair 80% of the users on there are all Ronnie fans lol.
👏😂, still happy with what we have on here
Ronnie has just been beaten 3-0 by both Kyren and John in his opening Championship League matches.
Also saw that Ronnie is up to Number 2 in the rankings, and if he has a good run in the Players Championship, has a shot of being Number 1 again. Selby didn't qualify for the tournament.
Don't think Ronnie cares less, he'll never admit it, but his burning desire & only thing left is 7 world titles
