Meanwhile we are asked to trust a process which has resulted in 2 8th place finishes.
====
Actually it hasn't. The process had to be restarted in the summer due to the wrongs of Raul and his mates.
We get rid of a manager for finishing 5th and getting to a European Final
and keep faith with a manager who has done much worse.
=========
Pretty sure we got rid of him because of 4 wins in 13 in the PL in the next season
We won 2 in 12 with Titler last season in the PL and he was backed heavily in the summer

Well, yeah. He was using the shiiit Raul brought in to line his pockets. Emery went before Raul was found out, obviously...
We’ll still be in a pretty good spot if we beat Everton, I think most fans would have taken being a point off 4th in December. It is an important game for assessing where we are as a team, we have to be beating teams below us to stand any chance of a decent finish. We should have done better at United, but they do have some very good players, however there’s not that excuse with Everton, so it’s one we must win.
Arteta won’t be going this season unless something dramatically bad happens, so not much point going into that. But We need to respond to our rivals improving in the transfer market. it’s clear we have a big problem taking chances, so we really need a striker. I think any manager would struggle with the forwards we have and the form they’re in, you could improve the build up etc, but that won’t stop our players fluffing big chances in the way that they do. If we don’t find a solution up front we will end up dropping away, no matter how good you make the defence.
We are pretty dreadful away from home.
We are conceding goals away fairly comfortably and equally not creating much at all
I'd be astonished if you don't win tomorrow. Everton are probably the worst team in the league right now and they all seem to want Rafa gone already. Easy win.

Man Utd
Struggling doesn't necessarily mean relegation candidates. Struggling can mean against where they are expected to be in terms of status, history and fanbase. Often teams who have been in poor form have made us their turning point.
But if you want to pick a relegation candidate out it wasn't so long ago that we gifted Villa a win in the final game of the season to prevent them dropping into the Championship.

Man Utd won an important game against Villarreal then got a good draw against Chelsea after sacking their boss, not struggling.

Oh, okay, let's go back 2 seasons when we had nothing to play for in reality. You made it sound like it happened every week!
As I stated above, I was referring more to teams in poor form or playing beneath themselves than relegation fodder.

Yes, it's definitely something I've noticed myself and has been mentioned before by others/media but I'm about to go to the gym and it's quite a time consuming thing to do looking back on the form charts of other teams. So you will need a bit of patience for my reply. Let's hope we don't get an example of that tomorrow.
Brentford, Chelsea and City obviously had good form from the previous season.
Brighton were 4th or 5th.
Palace had lost against Chelsea and Liverpool but unbeaten in their other 6 including a win over Spurs.
Liverpool in good form.
United, as discussed.
Don't see it myself, we have been described as flat track bullies because we have beaten the out of form teams we have faced.
I think Arteta will be a good manager. He has so much understanding of the game, tactically, and even from a motivational viewpoint, he knows what works and what doesn’t.
What he doesn’t have is experience. He’s cutting his cloth at Arsenal, and Arsenal is too big a club to be able to afford to do that, to see that process of having a manager learning his trade, at the expense of results on the pitch.
An ideal situation for Arsenal would have Arteta as number two, working alongside a top manager and in a few years then taking over.
I wanted this to be the case for Arteta at City. Work alongside Pep, and then take over once Pep leaves.
It’s just too soon for Arteta at Arsenal. And this chance that he has could be to his own detriment in regards to his own career.
He has the potential to be a top manager, but Arsenal are too big a club for a manager to effectively serve his apprenticeship at.
Arsenal will be 8th this season. Spurs and Utd will come strong with proven managers. Spurs will probably buy this Jan. West Ham will reinforce.

This season maybe and this season is still young, in the last two I definitely remember feeling like we were helping teams in poor form turn things around. Also it's subjective. I'd say we helped Man Utd turn things around with that result as most would agree that they'e been having a bad season.
We'll see if this narrative plays out tomorrow but I agree with you (apart from the Man Utd one) in general this season it hasn't happened yet.
Actually I don't even need to agree with you looking back at our results this season in the PL it's a fact that it hasn't happened yet the only one open to argument is Man Utd who were still there for the taking after a poor start to the season if Arteta hadn't played Elneny and we hadn't spent the rest of the game playing like we felt guilty after the first goal.
Calm down kids ffs it’s not even January ffs.
