These are young athletes, they will most likely get no or minor symptoms
Have any footballers been hospitalised due to covid???

Here speaketh a man with little or no idea of how to apply logic to a very simple situation. Do you think isolating oneself is to protect your own interests or others? It's not strictly true that footballers don't suffer as others have suggested but to think that they should just crack on as they're fitter than most is just plain ignorant of the facts. What about family members? The rules applied to us should also be applied to them, for their safety and for ours.
Reminder - you wear a mask just as much for the safety of others as you do for yourself. The same applies here.

It does seem quite a few people think footballers are all single and live alone and they don’t have anyone but themselves to think about
Most have young children , wives , girlfriends , boyfriends to go home to
Hell they even have parents believe it or not !
We can’t expect them to shut themselves off from the world apart from football for the season just so we can all watch a game of football
I’m disappointed we are having games cancelled but there are bigger issues to think about!

What’s the latest on the Leicester match? From stuff I’ve seen on Twitter seems touch and go.

Just saw Rodgers saying their match on Sunday will take place. Not sure what our position is. There were rumours we offered to play Rennes next Thursday so one would hope with Isolation being nearly over for the players who tested positive first the match will take place.
You would hope the players are being tested every day. I'm guessing we will know more come Sunday or Monday.
But then the Athletic are saying there is belief at Spurs the game will be postponed.
