We'll probably end up having to loan him.
He made prove me wrong but I doubt he’ll have a big impact in any of the top leagues now. Doesn’t seem to be able to go past players like he used to. He’s had his chance but it’s time to go now.
Doubt we’ll get much for him given his wages.

Best bet, as others have said, is a club with money and in a hurry to bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be. City overpaid a fair bit in the early days after winning the lottery. We followed suit when our performance dropped drastically in the post-Fergie era. Now if anyone has a bridge to sell, I'd be looking to the city on the Tyne.
Never been convinced by him. Off you pop.
Talented but looks to have a dodgy attitude, Same as NDombele at Spurs..... Who'd a thought you be so bl00dy miserable to get paid a for fortune to play football for a great club
RR, problem is that Newcastle already have a better striker than Martial.
Disappointed in Martial's development. If he had as much interest and passion in improving his football as much as he had in cheating, he could have been a top player. But the guy has no ball control and likes a good smash...just not in football. Too bad.
Had high hopes for him but that's multiple managers losing faith in him.
Best of luck to him
Even when he's been on good scoring runs, I've never been totally convinced that he was the real deal, though perhaps playing in a front 2 might be better for him. Mason, Marcus, Ronaldo and Cavani should be ahead of him.
This is just my thinking but it feels like he's been told he can go and his agent is trying to make the b st of a situation.
If he's surplus to requirements potential clubs would be negotiating lower fees and importantly for Martial and his agent lower wages.
If he is seen as frustrated and wanting games he has a little more negotiation power with potential buyers.
As I said just my own thinking. But with Ralf potentially being given a £100m in January (paper reports could be BS) I think we would be looking to get rid of a few players.
I don't remember any great seasons.....same with pogba. Moments but trash overall

It wasn’t 50m
Not fussed about him going, been far too inconsistent. I wouldn’t moan if he stayed in case our new coach could get something out of him but I cannot see that happening

Pepe
Dunno what happened to this Lad.
Has the potential to be a world beater but seems to lack the desire or energy. Or maybe he's a victim of the turmoil around the club.
In any case, if he wants to go then sure, but let's line up a replacement as we can't rely on Ronaldo/Cavani forever.
During Martial's time at Utd, he became increasingly disturbed and distracted by his personal life leading to waning of his confidence and game. That's what I think. He has my sympathies, but doesn't suit us anymore. Time for him to go.
The desire was always lacking. It was so easy for him when he was younger. He just did not work at it.

This. I did question at one time whether his sulky demeanour was making me question his effort levels more than I should. But he just doesn't have the required desire to improve and in fact didn't even maintain the level he was at when he arrived.
At least we didn’t have to fork out more money to Monaco due to the Ballon d'Or clause…
