Simple solution play tomorrows round of fixtures and shut down for 2 weeks now, makes 100% sense.

Makes sense for Celtic who want to get new players in.

I'm clearly going to be biased in that I want to see a full Celtic Park for the OF game, but it ruins any spectacle in that game and the other two New Year derbies if they're going to be on Sky with a handful of fans in and no atmosphere.
Have watched a few German games recently and it's been grim. Forgot how dull the games were without supporters.. guarantee this three weeks rolls on and becomes 6 weeks.
3 weeks.
It will be 3 month minimum

I'm reading in various places about the tremendous players that Gio has desperate to sign for Rangers.
Football without fans does not interest me
Unlimited at weddings.... Aye there's never close contact there fs.
Revert bridesmaid is a free for all
What is the fooking point of people testing then?
Only thing that's gonna happen now is that you're gonna get multiple different households packed together in one house to watch the game on the bevvy. More chance of catching it indoor with zero supervision and heavy drinking involved than in an open stadium.
I guess the only argument against that is that you don't know where the 60000 are coming from, and many will be sharing public transport and supporters buses for a few hours which would have the same effect as watching it indoors.
Either way, it's still gonna spread regardless given how contagious this strain allegedly is
This has become more than a joke.
I wont argue funerals, its a last chance to say goodbye to people and for me thats above rules.
Shopping centres packed, weddings, panto, music venues.
All good aye?
Fvck off man
No OF game on the 2nd?
Fvck it, try get tickets for St Mirren tomorrow when it is still covid safe then I'll try get to a an EPL game in early January - again where it is safe

This current round of restrictions seems to me like they know they can't contain or even impede the spread of this strain as it's already highly concentrated in the public, but they have to be seen to be doing something.
The damage has already been done.

There is no point. Less hospitalisations but increased measures
The issue so far this season is that fans have not been allowed to bring covid into stadiums or have covid whilst in the stadiums, so this has resulted in fans getting tanked up on covid in pubs pre-match and acting irresponsibly whilst in the ground.
