It is a shambles. I'm down in the South East and commute to London every bloody day. Every fvcker is loving it as it gives them an excuse to continue with their Peleton sessions while 'working'.

Trying to play football as the fixture list dictates.
------------------------------------------------------------------
with no home crowd for your fixtures at Pittodrie and CP, ffs manthat not an advantage, you scared of us and the sheep with fans?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I would happily play these without a crowd this time round at ibrox and play the second two away against each team if it proved a point.

Going to pittodrie and Parkhead holds zero fear for us. Tough game, yes. But we have just came through Hibs and Hearts away with their grounds full of fans.

The myth about Rangers not being able to play in front of fans has, so far, this season been shown to be just that - a total myth.

It was actually quite funny when Rangers were stuttering a bit at the start of the season, conceding goals for fun etc and the loonballs were saying 'see - told yez -pash in front of fans'

Well we werent great but it turns out it was a new voice in the dressing room and a new regime behind the scenes that was required. It had absolutely fook all to do with fans.

Since Gio has come in we have played in front of big crowds evey game, won all but one match and conceded a total of two goals.

Makes you suspect that some of those that like to bump their gums in the press are really a bit clueless.

I just want to have games to look forward to in the coming weeks.

We are allowed to play.

It is safe to play.

So just play whilst we can.

I dont want a fixture log at the end of the season.

And I dont want the season being cut short and ended with a vote.

Pretty much nailed it.

I can't wait to play this 'Angieball'

It is amusing and very highly talked-up.

The delay works for Celtic

Given the referee s are conspiring against them this seems on!y fair

So feart to play us yet they boast that this 'Angieball' will rip us a new one.

Strange Bhoys.

TBF 'Angieball' didn't do too well at Ibrox.

IIRC - We had our 3rd choice keeper between the sticks and still won.

Sorry your first sentence is a pretty good example of offering something that can't be delivered. A bit pointless.

100% agree that Rangers have dealt with the myth about playing in front of fans this season. I never really bought into that in the first place.

It's interesting to see how many Rangers players are now completely dissing Gerrard and, by extension, Michael Beale.

Glad that you've all now finally come round to my point if view. BTW, I hailed GVB as a massive upgrade from day one.

I think Douglas Park was right in his statement that uts great to have the fans back and how it makes a huge difference to the games. It's what it's all about.

I'd like to get to the game if possible.

I happen to think Celtic will win the league anyway so it's nothing to do with that

FFS..... Nobody is claiming we would skelp youse on January 2nd....... it's two teams in form......50/50 game albeit we have significant injuries......and yes playing in front of our fans is an 'advantage'......same as the first game as yer place

and another

Now what will it be called?

Gang, sidekick, deputy, or something original?

Along with something original like angie, 3rd choice right back (who is an international), something about London (as if that is something we should aspire to), oh and grey line boring

Have I pretty much covered it?

Oh don't forget - marks my words.

That's me done. If this gets read then I'll be getting another social media stalking, maybe another threatening message and if I am really lucky a blackmailing email

early data suggests what we all know, that this strain is less severe and restrictions to be lifted
------------------------------------------------------------

So why are we basically planning for a much worse case scenario.

Its almost like the early data gathered from a population which has been shown to react very differently to viruses than us isnt to be trusted at this stage.

It may turn out to be the case that for us in the UK Omicron is less severe - and I hope for everyone sake it is.

But it is not an inevitability or else we wouldnt be shutting down to the degree we are - we would just be giving out free Kleenex and Paracetamol.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mr Johnson will soon also be presented with encouraging findings from government scientists that Omicron is milder than Delta.

The UK Health Security Agency report leaked to the Politico website shows people are much less likely to get really sick than with other mutations.

Care Minister Gillian Keegan said the data on Omicron's severity was the "missing piece" the Government had been waiting for before deciding how to act.

if there's a chance of playing these games with fans in 3 weeks time then we have to go for it

to start playing a handful of games in front of 500 fans or even behind closed doors then when the fixtures flip back again be back to a full house it isn't fair on any of the teams that'll miss out on a full home support

we've only got Jota out injured and it seems to be a bad one so there's a good chance he won't be back for a re-scheduled old firm anyway

I don't want to watch football in front of 500 fans it's rubbish, so so bad

I was the 1st Nimmo/Murty/Pedro filtered - I think I make him nervous.

He usually trots off when I join a thread.

He used to give the grey line patter but kinda ruined it by replying to

specifics in my posts in Real Time.

Despite his swaggering he's a small town boy with a mind to match.
