Hojbjerg would have been my MOTM yesterday for the sheer effort he put into the game.
Winks was good at certain points in the game but the anti-Winks in me cannot get that 360 he did in our our box ,got dizzy and nearly cost us a goal.
Dier has been good mostly as well but he nearly cost us at the end and Sanchez of all people had to bail him out.
I know Mason must be whispering sweet nothings about his mates in Conte's ear but I think we really need sell most of our players
Winks is not very good. Hojbjerg has not had a great season, but he is a level above Winks, even at his worse.
2 games in 48 hours, that was the major issue
I’m not sure one game should change opinion on anything.
We were extremely unlucky not to come away with 3 points yesterday with 2 goals incorrectly (imo) ruled out
Watch back the Saints goal and see how Hojbjerg fails to react quickly to close down and block the shot. It is not the first time this season he has failed to close down shots leading to goals either.

Hojbjerg is consistently a 6/10. He doesn't really have bad days and even if he does he's doing his job. Plus he's shown that he can pop up with the odd goal contribution.
Winks has put in a couple of years' worth of solid 4/10 performances, often against weaker opposition where he should be able to show his skillset off a bit. If he was a foreign signing there'd be no debate about selling him at this point. I feel like the homegrown thing has been his saving grace.
Anyway, like Tarrico said, it's different roles. I reckon Skipp will wind up taking Hojbjerg's place alongside a more creative player.
A MF Of PEH & Skipp Doesn't work in a 3-4-3... They are too similar (Both very good defensively) which we don't need when playing 3 CBs and our attacking threat is diminished as Royal is poor going forward. It means our forwards our isolated leaving only Moura as our only threat in transition...... GLC, Ndombele and Dele are not the answer. Kessie might not be everyone's cup of tea but u can see why we are linked with him (if rumors are true?)
“Winksy is playing well. Winksy showed to be a really able player. For this reason, Winks will stay here. I’m finding out which players are reliable and I can count on them. Winksy showed me I can count on him.”

That's interesting, I mean Conte obviously knows a lot more than any of us.
Manager praises player shocker. Could well be a dig at more talented players in the squad that are proving 'unreliable'.
