91/92 perhaps? First away game. 1-0 win with Kanchelskis beating Staunton the 'old fashioned way'.
Or a 2-1 win in 93/94 with Lee Sharpe scoring both?
Was it this game from August 1993?

Black Sharp Viewcam kit, the Sharpey Shuffle and Paul Ince bossing things in midfield
We win so often in the PL and the FA cup at Villa Park it gets hard to single out specific games over the Fergie years

That's the very one, thanks for that. It was a great game and we really deserved the win, despite Villa playing there part.
And Dalien Atkinson scoring for them, recently killed by a police man. A scandal.

His directness was great. Could do with some of that now!
The expression Donkeys Years takes me back to the days of taking my children to the beach at the St. Anne's end of Blackpool. At that time the council had started to invoke regulations in regard to the welfare of the animals so I was OK with them taking a ride. My young son, 10 years old, had become imbued with my own love of nature and was still concerned about their welfare as the donkeys always have that sad Eeaw countenance. He asked me how long they live when doing the rides. Obvious reply was "Oh, donkeys' years son, donkeys' years" to which he replied "Dad, You are supposed to teach me things not have a laugh." So next I asked him "Do you know what the donkeys get for lunch?". " Half an hour, same as I get at work". He looked at me angrily for a second and then burst out laughing. Lovely memory.
Law, Best and Charlton - triumvirate - best header of a ball, most skilful player ever, and if Bobby caught a shot right then there is only one of the Hibberts that could possibly have hit it harder. The only header of a ball that came close to Denis was Malcolm MacDonald. Messi is good but not better than George Best, Lucky to have lived in a golden age. Biased, no not me!
