Our front 3 contracts expire in 2023 and I can't see all 3 getting a renewal. Only Salah has maintained/improved but he wants mega money too. Looks like we are looking for replacements.

If we are spending 60mil on someone it means we are selling someone for more than that.

in case people missed this: jota 45mil. thaigo 20mil. tsmiskas 12mil. "net spend" 60mil although over 2 years.
last summer we just about broke even with grujic fee being paid in 2022 by porto so they balance thier books. (so that can be discounted off the fee)
so I really don't see why peoepl think LFC simply cannot buy anyone without a forward leaving as we have not spent that much over the past 3 years AND we have phillips and williams also reportedly looking to move on with a 25-30mil possible haul. Origi will be a very small fee as he is out of contract in summer.
Now..... parking that part of the conversation its unlikely to be a real story as the club and manager have been briefing of no signings.

15, 15, 5-7 = 37mil max. I think that'd be good business. Origi contract is supposed to be up in the summer so if someone pays 7mil now it'd be amazing.
12 with add ons for phillips is a joke but some club has only bid 7 which is laughable. but form there unless theres two bidders it'll be a struggle. its probabaly burnely or someone that way inclined to be really cheap.
Williams is deluded if he things a prem club will swoop in. but given ki got us 10mil off wolves anything is possible i guess.

The slant in The Echo, reporting as best they can I’m sure, seems to be generating, a la Barca/PSG etc., the transfer of Naby out of the club.

The more I read stories of transfers originating in one or other Spanish newspaper about our club the more I disregard it.

pearce is behind a pay wall now. He can't afford to be wrong. I think on the balance here pearce as been consistent in his prior messages that LFC were not going to sign anyone this January and would focus on internal resources while ACON is on.

Now..... could a journo look at the extremely high fee and decide to jump to a conclusion? yes i think so.
