I thought it was brilliant. Didn’t realise Andy Burnham had such a big role in helping Anne. It’s a shame they never released the role that Thatcher had in the aftermath.

It was a very well made series so credit to ITV for that and a very emotional one. Maxine peak played portrayed Anne particularly well. Difficult to comprehend what happened that day even so many years later.

Unfortunately there are still imbeciles out there who still seem to think the fans had something to do with it so hopefully the series educates a few in that regard.

I was at the 25th anniversary and Burnham’s speech was very emotional, he should be the leader of the Labour Party for me.

One of the biggest cover ups on British history. A take away here, at the time of the tradegy if you said the fans are innocent and the gov AND police were culpable as well as the press making stories up...you were branded a conspiracy theorist.

History does and can teach us s lot about our future.

The government and press believed the police, as they should be able to. For me the police were entirely to blame.

It was good, if I had one criticism it was that there were only four episodes, there was a lot to fit in and personally I think it could/should have been done over maybe a dozen episodes, still enjoyed it though

In the first instance yes but the cover up went right to the very top of the government.

If it did I don't know what was in it for them, they weren't there or directly responsible. Why not just blame the police, whose fault it was.
I'm not saying you're wrong KLS because I don't know. Just can't see why they would.

Those tory governments couldn't turn on the Police. They relied on them so heavily in breaking the miners.

Thatcher was culpable all the way up to her eyebrows
She hated Liverpool with a passion for the simple reason that the city had always been a Labour stronghold.
If there is a hell I hope she's screaming in pain
