KERCHING!

Any offer north of £15m I would take now. I really don't think he will ever produce anything for us that will now change my mind. Have been a big supporter, I like the lad, but I think the moments of magic are never going to be much more than 2 or 3 minutes per match.

I would like him at Spurs and it appears we are the most interested party. Conte seems to think he can make him the next Victor Moses.

You’ve probably heard this a million times before but if he had end product he would be incredible

Agree Strike but, sadly, he hasn't.

Which is so weird considering he came through Barcelonas youth system, you would expect him to be technically sound

He's a genuine mystery to most Wolves supporters.

He is technically sound. He ridiculously skillful, has a powerful shot and generally his crossing is OK. It's his decision making and off the ball movement that holds him back.

I think some of that oil on his arms is finding its way on to his boots.

Traore does have a powerful shot which he tends to always use when he gets a shooting chance. But like today on two occasions power wasn’t needed, just a bit of composure.

I thought he had a decent game today otherwise. Got people out their seats a few times, had some good runs and set up a couple of half chances. I’d be sad to lose him, and unless we get a really big offer I don’t think we will this month. Football is all the better for flare players like him

Hasn’t scored or assisted a goal in 21 games this season.

He’d be better as a running back in the NFL.

Whatever it is, if it could be coached into him then he would be a heck of a player

He’s bound to trouser some of the transfer fee.

He's got everything required to be a world class player, with the crucial exception of end product.

And the frustrating thing is he can do it, we've seen it on a few rare occasions. I don't doubt that his presence on the field does help us in other ways freeing up space elsewhere on the field as teams adjust to counter his pace threat, but although I'd be sorry to see him go, we'd lose very little because he hasn't provided goals or assists this season and hasn't done so in previous seasons in the quantities you'd expect of a player that wants to be his clubs top earner.

I think our forward line looks been without him to be honest. The three are more fluid and the link up play is better.

When Traore doesn't play, we miss his exciting runs and ability to get us out when penned in occasionally. However, at the same time when he doesn't play the team presses better and usually presses higher.

I think he has a unique ability which is great to have as a luxury to throw on. Unfortunately, he wants to be our top earner which he doesn't really justify given his output. The time has come where it is now quite difficult to justify keeping him. His decision making isn't going to get better, so I think what we see is all we are ever going to get from him.

What’s the noise the Wolves end? Our so called ITKs seem to reckon us buying him this window is a goer

I find this stat that Traore has no assists to be such a red herring in assessing what he brings to the team. In a recent home game he cut in from the left beat three players crossed to Kilman who headed it down for Coady to bundle home. There was nothing on at all when Traore picked up the ball but it’s Kilman who gets the assist because he was the last player to touch it before the scorer. At Brighton he played Podence clean through with the keeper to beat but he missed. Then shortly after he put Trincao through with the keeper to beat and he missed.

So does this no assist stat translate to Traore creates nothing? I doubt if any other Wolves player has created more chances than Traore this season or last

Agree with this.

Last weekend there was nothing on when Adama picked the ball up out wide and left the United defender for dead, before putting in a great cross that ex England defender Phil Jones could only head out to the edge of the area for Moutinho to fire home.

Easily worth £40million (and if Flatrack Kane is worth £100million) maybe double that.

More than Traore’s performances the thing likely to see him leave is that he has been offered an improved contract and hasn’t signed it. Clearly the club won’t want him to leave on a free so a sale does look inevitable. I think if that happens we should make that in the summer not now. The market is healthier in the summer and there’s the chance of getting an auction going. Also in terms of our squad I think it would weaken us to sell him before Neto is back and up to speed

Surely you can charge more of a premium in January. I am sure Mendes will have a replacement lined up for you guys

he is great fun to watch and I would miss him
he does add value to the team
but we need a central midfielder and central defender
it seems we cannot have it all

I love him but he frustrates me so much.
At the end of the day I would be sorry to see him go, but for a big fee I believe we and he would be better off.

I think Jimenez actually leads the team in chances created per 90 minutes, not Traore. Jimenez has higher key pass stats, as well as more goals. In terms of key passes, there isn't actually a lot between our forward players. One key statistic is that Podence has two assists in the PL with half the game time of Traore.

It would be interesting to see the stats on chances created as team with Traore in the side and without him in the side to be honest. Traore is very much a player that relies on individualism and it does impact the overall balance of the team. It wouldn't surprise me if as a team we created less with him on the pitch.

Bizarrely overrated by so many because he runs fast and looks exciting. Never mind he can't pass, pass and move, track back, shoot etc etc.

Get ball, head down, charge, nice if you plan to just be a counter attacking outfit forever but if you have any intentions of dominating the ball he is worthless.

My fear is not Traore leaving, but a very good offer for Neves coming in during this window.
