This is the same quote regurgitated.

Its different this time. We were told he wanted 400-500k a week but that is not the case.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

What is the case then?

We have spent in areas when its been necessary, jota thiago and konate have all come in for big money since we won the league. Ive no doubts a midfielder will come in the summer. The club will add bit by bit when they need to. We dont need 6 or 7 guys coming in every window. We need a couple. Its a great position to be in and something we havnt had for 3 decades.

The aging squad annoys me too. These guys are 30, a couple just over that. They arent 37 milner aside. Theres 2, 3 and in some cases 4 years there still. In that time the club will add. People need to chill out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah, agree with this.

We were looking in excellent form until about a month ago when injuries started to coincide, it's only very recently people have been ruing Gini leaving

"Salah will want to see that there's a continued commitment from the club to add quality to what they have got, with the intention of maintaining Liverpool's ability to challenge for titles."

That is where negotiations are probably breaking then. Our owners ain't spending the money unless we sell. They are happy with top 4 money while Mo wants medals.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep not a chance will FSG spend some of their own money on players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Looks like you’d be more suited to supporting City, Chelsea or Newcastle
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Or Aston Villa, or Crystal Palace, or Brighton or any of the vast majority of Premier League and even some Championship clubs that have outspent us since 2018.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No they haven't. That's a complete lie. Again.

Salah probably sees FSG have made key investments at important times, and bought and sold very well. Fact is the net spend per season is still very low, sales taken into consideration.
FSG are a business though and with covid creating uncertainty it's gonna get hard to push for things they Def won't want to promise.
Lfc should point to barca as a sign it can go wrong very fast, throwing $ about and joining another team is always a gamble. He is a focal point at LFC but could fall out of favour after just a few games at another club.
The blessing with Salah is it was never going to be about $ so hopefully common sense prevails and he resigns soon.

FSG have a history of not giving long contracts to 30 odd year olds..and he is 30 in June...i guess, as its likely Mo,s last contact "i bet" he asked for a 2 to 3yr contract...and THATS the issue.

Its FSG contract model Vs A truly world class player....mmmm, do they tear up their model for Mo or stick to it?

I can’t imagine you guys are underpaying Mo, ffs, he is worth minimum 450k/wk if you consider his influence and scoring pedigree.

Come to Arsenal we will pat you 500k/wk. Mane on 90k/wk? That’s criminal. We were paying Mustafi 100k/wk to sit on bench, heck even Xhaka is paid more than Virgil, skints come to mind.

I am actually worried of United if they get their act together because of their unlimited resources unlike poor teams like Liverpool. Just like Leicester they will be another ordinary team. Kudos though the way Klopp used their limited resources and masterful sell to challenge for trophies.

Sounds like he's off to Arsenal...

This is because our club is run by more intelligent people than yours.

I think that would be called a BOOOM moment there. You should have dropped the mike and walked off there.

or as stone cold would say when his opponent was laid out BEER ME!

You only really need to be worried about the likes of Leicester, Spurs and West Ham.

And then you read his other comments which are full of negative assumptions and lies. Perhaps he has had too many 'BEER ME!' moments lately and has imagined an alternative reality.
