Just an excerpt:

“ We knew we haven’t played the best football as we should do but we have many games to improve. At some points we are better with Rangnick but he needs time. It’s not easy to change the mentality of players and the system like that.”

He's saying all the right things at least.

From what I read he was calling some out as well. I think it's a good thing and I hope they react to these words positively. If you can't take advice from one of the best ever who will you listen to?

If it’s to be believed there’s a divide in the camp of the Ronaldo gang and the others not sure this helps if it just further divides them

The most selfish player in the squad cannot be the one to call out players.

All well and good talking a good game but he’s been poor in many games too.

Greenwood has called out the players?

I say the right things, i have to because i can hardly move these days.

People crying because Ronaldo is putting their overrated faves in their place. Good, about time someone called out the usual clowns protected because of their nationality.

I've got no issue with this. It seems something like SAF would do as well really. Have one of his senior players as a mouthpiece. Just because Ronaldo isn't the most hard working member of the team doesn't mean he can't call them out for things. It makes no sense him charging around. He should be where he can do most damage.

If reports are true and Maguire is leading a revolt against him football is at an all time low.

If the board actually back Maguire and the others....

His return will prove to be the best thing that's ever happened to United. Finally bringing back standards after Ole and the years of grinning and passing off failure as progress.

I think it is and it isn't. Short-term Ronaldo's return could be argued is hurting us. No matter what you think of Ole I do believe he had a plan with the attackers coming into this season.

However, that plan may only have got us top four and we'd be resigned to be happy and accept that. What Ronaldo's return may have done is accelerated the need to do things much better. I hope so anyway! It'll be interesting to see how everyone reacts on Saturday. This may be a masterstroke by Ralf allowing him to say these things.

I fear it will backfire, there's a serious victim/loser mentality in this group and the noises Ronnie's winning mentality is too much for some players to handle says it all, actually it's not even noises Shaw practically confirmed it after the Wolves game.

Yes this present version of Ronnie isn't perfect but his flaws shouldn't even be looked at until AWB, Maguire, Shaw, McFred, Bruno and Rashford are squad players at a minimum, there the one's dragging the club down.

Maguire especially sums up everything wrong with this bunch, how is a 4 times relegated player at the country's biggest club with such an ego? He genuinely thought a goal against Albania proved the critics wrong, utter moron.

This is Ole's legacy.

I'm hoping his words, along with Ralf's words, will lead to a better performance on Saturday. Ralf's pre-game press conference will be interesting to see if he comments on the interview. I see nothing wrong with it though. Asking for better standards is never a bad thing surely?

Ronaldo has scored 8 PL goals and has 3 assists. This includes two pens scored too so he has 6 goals in the league from open play.

He's not even be that good.

It shouldn't be but if social media is anything to go by many fans are lashing out at him and the track record of this bunch suggests they're probably sulking/offended as opposed to using it as motivation.

Anyone who genuinely sides with the likes of Maguire on this one deserve every crap thing this club serves up going forward.

That's not unfair really but there's nothing wrong, IMO, for him to call for more from everyone. That includes himself. My main frustration with Ronaldo is that having bought him we're not even playing to his strengths and giving him chances. That's just putting into even more focus his flaws in terms of how we set up.

Ralf is no better, i mean an upgrade on the muppet he replaced (who wouldn't have been?) but ultimately another puppet for the owners, see his comments re the transfer window.

This is clearly leading to a Poch or Ten Hag appointment, ala manager's who will toe the line.

That's the difference, Ronnie will know he could be doing better (still the best out of the attacking lot by a distance) whereas many of the morons behind him probably genuinely believe they're playing wel

The 'muppet' he replaced says the angry nobody on a football forum who probably hasn't achieved a tenth of what Ole has in life.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wasn't a muppet. He got 3rd and 2nd place with this group of players amazingly. Every day that goes by that 'achievement' looks better and better for me.

Point proven, he's brainwashed fans of the 1st/2nd biggest club itw into thinking trophyless season's are something to shout about.

You're firmly part of the problem.

Also, Mourinho finished 2nd with a lot more points than Ole managed with a supposed mess of a squad that Ole supposedly fixed.

Top reds never cease to amaze me with the lengths they go to defend the indefensible, let me guess, you chant "Glazer out" from a seat you've paid them for?
