Just have one slight correction. You did have a shot on target, right at the end of the game.

Though I agree with your sentiment

More down to the fact you don't have Salah and Mane. Any team would miss them but your backups aren't anywhere near that standard.

That’s the result of chronic underfunding. We are a one man team.

Do you think Klopp could walk due to lack of investment by FSG?

His career mirrors that of Wenger who turned down the likes of Real and Bayern only to be hounded out of our club when sheit hit the fan

I think the high line makes it more difficult when teams park the bus, which they're obviously going to do when there are two legs and down to ten men. The area for actually playing in was extremely tight, with midfielders joining the attackers in the box leaving centre backs as the players trying to thread a needle in the tight space.

Really need to play it around a bit deeper and invite them on to you, to create space.

Doubt it as he has had loads of investment. He has changed the whole first eleven bar Henderson since he came in, has several world class players at his disposal and a CL and PL to show for it.

The team put out are more than capable of getting the win tonight but Arsenal defended well and the shooting was poor.

I think fullbacks were key tonight...but they didnt get in behind and cross plus o thi k they both played well below there level.

Telling klopp took of TAA and when Neco come on he was crossing or trying too.

In hindsight might have been a mistake to fake those tests

There's this thing called running at players.

And something called winning a corner

Or even sticking the tall lad up and hoofing it.

The utter pointlessness of shuffling the ball in front of static players using your cbs and least creative cm while your so called once in a generation fill back stands in field kicking dross away for 85 mins is un real.

Any bit of directness or willingness to demand the ball would be nice. Its not about players missing we are no better v 10men with them. Its a consistent issue time and again

At least out some effort in to make it believable.

Of course you were awful…

You always are when there’s a title close by

Imagine postponing the 1st leg just to get beat down like tonight.

It’s bizarre. Of course it’s hard to break down teams with every man behind the ball but that’s the case against 11 man teams.

When opposition goes down to 10 men our tempo drops to walking pace, basic concepts like simple ball control and passing to feet seems to go out the window.

Absolutely Abject stuff.

What the actual fuсk does this have to do with my comment?

It’s very clear the squad needs a refresh and so far the only way we can do it is by drafting in half of the reserves many of whom are nowhere near ready.

To be honest I’ve given up hope of seeing the investment that we need. Covid has ruined our club finances, we have a huge wage bill and we are unable to fiddle the system the way City have done,

When you take Mane and Salah out of this team we look quite average unfortunately.

City are way ahead of the rest now and that’s not changing anytime soon.

Havent seen them inventing covid cases to get more rest time for players, it was so obvious it was actually funny to read. Loser club mentality.
