I know not many would agree with me, but I think him not going has had a huge impact on not only him, but general morale in the squad. His form has been terrible this season and I am not sure he'll get it back. We could still get about £90m, which could be spent of Vlahovic and a backup striker. We should plan for the future.
By the way, I know none of this will happen. I just think it would be better for the club if it did.

I would have sold in the summer in retrospect and started again with the funds. Looks like Conte wants him to stay at the club and build around him, which I have no problem with if he can manage to get him back to his normal levels. It's quite hard to find really good goal scorers around now as it is, particularly the last few years.
The only way you get Kane to sign a new contract is if you prove that the club is heading in the right direction. I've seen no evidence of that just yet. The club needs investment. No single manager can turn this shiiiit around.

I was also open to him going in the summer depending on who the manager was and accepting that it was a rebuild with the money raised.
Glad we didnt as Nuno would have been the wrong person to give a rebuild to, and Conte seems to be far more inspiring and Kane, reportedly, loves him!
