I was thinking one of these days we will shock a high-flying team...remember two seasons ago Norwich beat Man City but were still relegated.
I was considering predicting exactly what Nookie has said, but I think I'll let him be the hero and I'll say 2-4 with Agard scoring if he starts, otherwise Rowe. May change after seeing the starting eleven.

I thought GMcS was taking a slightly unwise gamble with Dahlberg. I understand his logic if one thinks Jones is good enough, but I'm sure he did not expect Dahlberg to move to a relegation rival. If he gets a good striker with the extra loan position, it might work out OK. Has anyone seen Bottomley play?

I thought Dahlberg might have been “recalled” by Watford.
Let's hope Rovers All blacks become as successful as their Rugby equivalents. Watford did recall Dahlberg as Gmac told them he wouldn't be first choice for the rest of the season. It's a gamble but allows him more outfield options which we desperately need.
If we play on the frost covers we'll be invisible! Then again we usually are. Game on touch and go due to frozen pitch.

Watching the Challenge cup on iplayer as I can't sit through another rovers game just yet - another observation from the last home game was that the attendance figure was 5600 but I would estimate that there were under 4000 in the ground - perhaps a lot of season ticket holders have attending?

Well I suppose you could call it a better-than-expected performance to lose only 2-1, but our problem is still the very few (2) shots on target. It was difficult to judge what Agard can supply as he hardly got good service from the rest of the team. Another worry was Jones at times was back to his "rooted to the spot" mode.
What happened to the young lady who was going to be the referee? I do not know where they dug up the actual ref as he was terrible, like many of the refs we see these days. At least the "game stopped by towel" gave us a little comic relief.
Afterwards I watched the Villa vs. Man U game and it was good to see Jacob Ramsey score one and have an assist on the other. Maybe he benefitted from his short time with the Rovers!
I don't think Gary has thrown in the towel just yet as he couldn't get his hands on one today.
Signs of improvement but still a makeshift, unsettled side with lots of inexperience. Still a very long way to go to be competitive enough to stay up. Nevertheless I feel Gary does have what it takes to create a decent side in the future. However its still likely to be in League 2.
We all scored points from Saturday's game, so relatively nothing much has changed.
I suspect that the next result will be less predictable.
